So me and my boyfriend have been dating for 5 years we are in our early 20s his brother has a ex wife who came to visit with his brother's daughter. I don't know if im being paranoid but he's really close to her and it makes me uncomfortable. she got him a necklace for his birthday last year and he wears it a lot to work also he seems to know very small details about her I also catch him staring at her a lot. even when she's not in the mood to hang out he always tries to force her to come with us
He knew her since he was 7 years old he told me they have a brother sister relationship but I'm begging to believe he's in love with her I'm a hairdresser and he was begging me to do her hair she's the type of girl who isn't really girly and doesn't like to dress up but he wanted me to do her hair and nails because he never saw her put herself together before take note she's a very pretty woman naturally. But why does he want to see her dolled up so bad she's very anti social and he wants us to get close but his obsession with making her feel comfortable is getting on my nerves. Also I want to get married but he keeps making excuses I don't know what to do.

Well, he's too close to her and he definitely isn't going to get married as long as he is distracted by her.
5 years and no ring? Yeah, I don’t think marriage is going to happen especially if he keeps dragging his feet, it would’ve been done already or at least engaged if that’s what he wanted for real. Anyway, it’s hard to know what their relationship is. Could be friendly since he’s known her so long but I’m not there to witness their interactions, so my advice is trust your gut.
