I absolutely hate my girlfriends new nose piercing, how do I learn to accept it?

My girlfriend just got a new nose piercing despite the fact that she knows I hate piercings in general, but she has wanted it since before we got together, but looking at it makes me physically sick and I gag at times when I look at it, I'm not doing it on purpose I swear but I asked her if she could just not do it and she went and did it anyways because her friend was giving it to her for free. But I absolutely hate it and it takes the beauty away from her face because she's so adorable but that piercing just ruins it for me

sometimes, i know this is a shocker, a partner in a relationship wants to look good for the other person. sometimes they want to be appealing to their partner and attractive. i wonder if she knew how unappealing you find the nose ring or that it makes you gag
