I acendently invited two guys to my dance? What do I do and who should I take?

I asked the first guy Tommy on Monday. Tommy is a freshman and I am a junior so we are going as friends. I texted and He said I'll have to see. He did not respond for 24 hours so two days after I texted him and said "wondering if you figured out if you can go. If not no worries. I just need to know because permission forms are due soon". I sent my text around 8 am. He did not respond till around 8pm. I know he was not busy because he was texing in the group chat during this time with our other friends. He said "sure sound good". I said great and gave him info about the dance. ... On the day when I sent the follow up text I asked my friends and mom what they think I should do. They both said it was a blow off and it technically is a no. They told me I should just ask someone else. My neighbor is a boy who is also a junior like me. My neighbors mom did not respond until this morning and my mom sent her the text around 5pm last night so we assumed she ignored the text. All she said was "can you please call me." my mom hasn't called. But when my dad was walking the dog Matts mom stoped him and asked about the dance my dad had no clue what she was talking about and said talk to my mom... Pros of Tommy are IK him pretty well, Ik he's a good guy, he is nice, and he is tall. i also feel that in the future if I backed out I could ask him again. Also are parents have not yet talked so I feel his parents won't be pissed. The cons are he's younger the me, I can't flirt, and we can't date in the future, he probably also will never ask me to one of his dances. Cons of Matt are he lives close. Also are moms have talked so his mom might hate me if 'I back out and we might not be able to go to another dance in the future. Also, we've never talked before so it might be awkward. Pros are he lives close, he would be open to going to the after party, we might be able to date in the future, I could flirt, and he probably would invite me in the future to his dances if it goes good.
