How do you console your partner about their phisical insecurities?

My wife used to be very insecure about her legs, in her opinion they were too thin and stick-like even though she likes wearing skirts. I would often remind her that I found them beautiful and that if people's eyes fell on them when they saw her, surely it wasn't because they didn't like what they saw.

She was also looking into breast-augmentating surgery at some point, but given she gained at least two sizes during pregnancies (I don't know exactly about those things, I never looked into sizes and whatnot) she more or less forgot about it, although she did ask me many, many times if they really had grown or she was imagining it.

As for me, when I mentioned I wished to be at least a bit taller she often said that "the best wine is in the little barrel".
