What's your opinion on sanctioned affairs?

Basically when the affair is approved and encouraged by the other spouse/partner.

I was watching an interview about this couple whom got married for financial reasons and refuse to get a divorce still for financial reasons. They are basically just business partners, and both of them had different romantic partners.

They seemed to have a great rapport with each other and described their relationship as best friends.

if you look this from different view. Marriage is technically a financial agreement to create family and enjoy life if it pleases you.

What if the romantic partners want to get married? If they're already married to someone else for financial purposes they can't marry someone else

Then they'd have to discuss a divorce that suits both of them.
Marriage is a business contract after all. Only in the last century or so people gave it a prevalent romantic meaning.
