Should I tell my boyfriend I kissed my boss?

I got pretty drunk last night and ended up kissing my boss, I work in a pub and we stayed late drinking. Myself and my boyfriend haven't seeing eye to eye the last while, he told me 2 days ago that I've "let myself go" really hurt. He has told me if I ever cheat on him he will, and I quote, beat the shit out of me. He's not abusive but has being on occasions in the past so I am afraid. If I tell him I'm afraid he will take my son away from me, I'll have to leave my job. I don't have it in me to cheat and honestly he's really pushed me away but I feel so guilty, what will I do?
