Why do men object to their wives/girlfriends posting racy photos online while liking other women's racy photos?

I've noticed this huge hypocritical double standard with most men how they will condemn their wives/girlfriends posting inappropriate content online or being inappropriate with the opposite sex while doing the exact same thing that they don't want their girlfriends/wives doing?

Men: "I don't want you posting half naked photos online that invites sexual attention from other men"

Also men: *leaving kissy faces and hear-eye imogis on other women's half naked photos, flirting with them telling them how beautiful they are*

Men: "I don't like it when you have multiple guy friends and talking to your exes while we are in a relationship it's disrespectful"

Also men * having multiple female "friends" and talks to their exes while in a marriage or relationship*

I know that clearly everyone is different and everyone has different opinions and relationship standards and different boundaries for both particular parties to follow which I totally understand but my thing is if you CLEARLY DO NOT want your partner doing something that you feel that is disrespectful and inappropriate to you, then you obviously shouldn't be doing those things yourself. In other words don't expect someone to be okay with things that you wouldn't be okay with if it were done to you.

But men are most known for being this hypocritical, narcissistic and controlling. And obviously don't understand or care about how disrespectful and inappropriate their actions are towards their partner until those things are done to them.

So seriously what is with the double standards here? 🤷‍♀️

There are two types of men who do this. The first is the men who hold onto this standard but applies it on himself as well. Meaning he doesn’t wander around social media gawking over women who dress provocatively, or STARE at women wearing revealing clothes in real life. I have no problem with them.

Second type is the one who applies the standard on their gfs/wives but they go around ig and tiktok doing what you mentioned under your question. Now, this group of men are toxic, misogynist and narcissist. They are jealous of the attention that their gfs/wives get and find it exhausting to keep competing with other men because they don’t have the best quality to secure their position in the relationship/marriage. If you notice most of them are either low income or the best is average earning men.

I am married and my husband has no problem with how I dress. He knows that’s my style even before I met him. If a man doesn’t want their girlfriend or wife to dress revealing, go and approach women who wear modest clothing but hey, that’s not what the majority of them do. They go for women who wear mini skirts with boots, then tell her to cover herself once they are together. I don’t date these men so I am all good.

Exactly I am usually talking about the second group of men that you have lastly mentioned. I don't like the hypocrisy of it all. Men will condemn their women for dressing like "whores" while cheating on their wives and girlfriends with women who they don't want their women to dress and behave like. This is why I do not take men seriously at all.

For sure it's a double standard, the difference is that when the pics are from women a guy that doesn't know he less likely cares about the person that is in the picture. But if it's a woman he knows it's easier for a guy to switch in a protective mode since he knows how other guys he react to it.
