We are in a serious relationship with him but he rarely texts me nowadays. He is very affectionate and caring when we are together but when we dont see each other, he doesn't text me at all. Should I talk to him about that? What can it be the reason?

That reminds me of my Husband when we were dating. He hates texting and I don't have the patience to text either but for some reason it used to cause some anxiety on me. Calling may be the best option if he doesn't like to text. Also try to spend more time together.
