Is it weird my boyfriend & I don’t text?

So my boyfriend and I both live & work together. We barely talk at work & if we do it is very brief. & after work if we aren’t together we don’t really text. But I am with him all the time. I am not a very jealous person , I don’t nag or question , & he hasn’t given me a reason to worry. So if we are not with one another for a few hours throughout the day after work , why would I text him & ask him where he is or what he is doing? I trust him so I don’t feel a need to plus he always comes home at night or in the evening & we spend all that time together. I don’t talk to him at work because I am with him all the time after work. We both are rarely apart so when he does go do something I just don’t see a point in bothering him & questioning his every move. My friends think both situations ade weird & now it is kinda concerning me. What do y’all think? I am not careless I just dont see a need to bother him or text him while we aren’t together since we are together most of the time. & when the situation is reversed it is the same thing. I think it works for us but now they got me concerned that it won’t always work or it is leading to a bad relationship. what y’all think?

There's nothing weird about that. Texting has only been a thing in the human condition for 10-20 years. Landlines and not texting at all were normal 20 years ago.

As long as you trust him, then there's nothing wrong. It's likely a healthier relationship than most really.
