I know some women today might see that as portraying women weak , but still...~40
Protecting people who can't help themselves as I see it. We can update the terminology and still with largely the same results. If we have a child who grows 6'3 and 200lbs at 13 years old with a Hulk figure for some reason, maybe he should stay on the boat.
Just people who are better capable of protecting and providing for others should protect and provide for others.
Women will rarely make it in that equation since we have women's sports.

Times have changed; when the Titanic sank men had authority and respect but now you have women openly shitting on men, saying they don't need men, #killallmen, etc so if I found myself on sinking ship with a limited number of lifeboats I would kill any simp or bitch between me and the lifeboat. Chivalry is for ladies, not bitches.
Protecting women and children, yes, BUT in more ways than just the physical. A masculine man makes sure his wife and children have their needs AND desires met, AND that they feel safe emotionally. Meaning, he serves them first and is loyal, reliable, and trustworthy.
Undoubtedly
I won't say a man should sacrifice his life to save mine to be considered masculine
But millions of men put their lives in danger everyday for the world to function and to feed their families , if that's not masculinity I wonder what is..

Nope my goal as masculinity is to protect my family if i need to surrender my life, i would not do it for any women and her kids, because if i surrender my life for them, then who is there to protect my family. Im assuming by your question update you are deleting any answer that disagrees with you. That is very feminine and not masculine.
I don't think so. A man should be able to be a man even if there's nobody else around at the moment, and no active threats. His masculinity shouldn't depend on outside circumstances.
My husband (A cop) , says that he feels most masculine when I'm sleeping on his chest without a worry in the world , knowing that I am safe with him
For some, sure. But for me, it's when someone is willing and able to support, love and defend his loved ones.
It’s a good thing, but make sure the woman in question wants that and that she really needs to be protected
I could see that argument, but I think a man can do that and still not be masculine if he carries himself in a non-masculine way
Of course, In my opinion a man is really masculine if others feel safe around him
It is to me, especially protecting children.
Yes protecting ladies not Bitches
Protecting a "Men are pigs" woman is simping not masculinityYes, it is like that is an instinct of ours or something.
This is core to our programming as Men.

I'd say nailing the hottest chicks is the epitome of masculinity.
