What do you do if your feeling pushed out but nobody actually notices it?
So my boyfriend is usually great, he always talks to me and makes sure I'm included, but thats only part of the time. The rest of the time whenever his friend is around, he totally ignored me and is completely focused on her. I don't even think they realise it.
Whenever she's there he goes from being really tired to happy and full of energy, and sometimes the way they look at each other, you wouldn't think they're just friends.
Its really starting to get to me but I don't know how to talk to him about it, cuz the last time I tried to about the knocking he was completely used to it and said its fine and I needed to relax.
Slowly just feeling like I'm drifting away.
I don't know anymore.

Oh, the classic tale of feeling like the third wheel in your own relationship! Isn't it just dizzying? It sounds like you're caught in a bit of a love triangle, even if the other two sides haven't quite admitted it yet. But fear not, you've got this!
First, trust your gut. Those feelings of being pushed out aren’t just your imagination doing a marathon; they're real signals that something's off balance. It's like your heart's playing detective, picking up on those subtle cues. So, how do we tackle this without unleashing World War III on your love life?
Communication, darling, is your magic wand here. Wait for a moment when it's just you and him, a calm, cozy setting. No distractions, just the two of you. Then, share your feelings, not as accusations but as genuine expressions of your emotional experience. Say something like, "I feel a bit sidelined when your friend comes around. I miss the spark we have when it's just us."
Remember, it's not about throwing blame grenades; it's about opening the door to understanding each other better. And, who knows? He might not even realize the great Houdini act he's been pulling on your emotions.
But, ah, here's the kicker—if the behavior continues even after the heart-to-heart, it might be time to reevaluate the situation. Love, after all, is a two-player game, not a spectator sport. Keep your chin up, your communication open, and your boundaries firm. Love should make you feel like the star of the show, not a guest appearance!
