I don't think that age gap matters too much when it comes to love. I do think that there are some people that have arrangements that I don't exactly approve of though, like when it's a rich old dude on the verge of death and a really young model looking girl. But it's not my money or my conscience, so I'll let them do them!

An unpopular opinion I have is that as long as someone is passed the age of puberty, and there's a mutual attraction with consent on both sides, any age gap should be allowed and it's wrong for others to deem it immoral.

Different people are attracted to different things and we need to accept that, unless of course they're mentally ill in which case I'm definitely against it. That's why age of consent is so different among countries globally. You could argue that some countries are more primitive and live behind the times, and I'm sure there is a correlation to that, but there are simply countries with different views on what's considered moral.

If you care a ton about the societal norms and people judging you, then the "half your age plus seven rule" is a pretty good concept to refer to when choosing a partner.

I would think that 3 years are ok provided that both people are adults and that no children under the age of 18 are involved.

It is imperative that the woman is older than the man because women are more mature then men by an average of 2 years. You would not, as an 18 year old woman, have a man that is also 18 as his maturity is more then one of a child of 15-16 and that is obviously a no-go in any relationship.

I personally would not want to be in a relationship with a person that is older than 3 years as there are too many issues starting to build up besides maturity.

as long as the age gaps is between two consenting adults then it doesn't matter and it's no one else's business. I know a guy I respect a lot and he's 20 years older than his wife and you know what? They've been married over 20 years and have the healthiest and most loving relationship I've ever seen in my life.

I personally feel like any age gap above the age of majority is fine as long as the age gap isn't between a barely legal teen and someone who's like, 45. And when I say that, I don't mean a scenario where the two consenting adults just happen to meet at a bar one night and fuck or anything, I mean specifically looking for the demographic. Creepy. I'm in an age gap situations hip. I'm 45 and he's 27. We are adults. There are some days where he looks and acts really young just like there are day that I sure I seem old to him. If we don't over think age we really enjoy each other's company. I actually have a better vibe and comfort level than I have had in past relationships

The older people get the wider the spectrum.

If in high school maybe 1 year or two. In the early 20's maybe up to 10 years.

Once people get into their 30's and 40's maybe as high as 15 years.
