Good communication is a must in a relationship. Without it you are like a ship wandering in the fog, not knowing what lies ahead that may sink your relationship. So communication is more than crucial, it is a MUST! And it is never too late to start.

And communication can be split in Vanilla and non-Vanilla realms. Vanilla people will not understand the deeper level of communication as non-Vanilla people do.

For example, you cannot tell a vanilla person that you have certain sexual insecurities and expect them to just understand. They will be quick to judge without any deeper thought.
