1 ySurprisingly good considering how forgetful I can be with other things. I burn birthdays into my memory without trying. And it gets burned into my brain... permanently. I will have many days year when I think "oh... its Ashley B's birthday today" (I have not seen or spoken to that girl since I was 13 years old).
I can tell you when most of my childhood and high school friend's birthdays are... right now. I haven't ever really thought about this before. But yea... I think I'm weird in how well I can remember many of them. Not all.
There are definitely some blanks from back in the day... that I used to know (I cannot for the life of me, remember when my high school girlfriend's birthday was. That is bugging the shit outta me). This question has been a roller coaster. For me.

1 yI always remember the birthday and anniversary of my partners when I'm with them. Interestingly enough, now that I'm not with them anymore, I can't for the love of my life remember when their birthdays are or our anniversaries are even though I remembered it easily back then. It shows they're no longer important to me.

1 yI'm kind of the Rain Man when it comes to remembering birthdays and anniversaries. I still remember my ex bestie's birthday from 14 years ago April 30th. I still remember my childhood friend's birthday from 21 years ago, Oct. 11th and we haven't been friends since middle school. Once I know it, it's hard to forget the dates.

I'm the same 😆
2.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I do pride myself in having a reasonably good memory, especially for the immediate family and close friends etc... However there are few distant relatives which unfortunately I would forget if it wasn't for our rather compact calendar!

Hey there, lovebirds! Remembering special dates like birthdays and anniversaries is super important to keep the romance alive and show your partner they're special. I'm all for setting reminders because hey, technology is the real MVP here! 😅 Life gets busy, and a little help never hurts. Personally, I’m guilty of jotting 'em down in every calendar I own. Keeping those key dates fresh in your mind can totally avoid unnecessary drama and keep the love train rolling! Choo choo! 🚂💕

You need a new birthday to remember in that case
456 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Terrible. My memory is very selective. I'm terrible at scheduling, remembering things that happened in the past but I do seem to remember large amounts of scientific documents that I studied and am interested in. But don't ask me what I ate yesterday because I forget those things
10 Reply323 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Terrible. Although I have a very good memory for dates/anniversaries, I don't like them. I hate all the big get-togethers, especially birthday parties. If you are more than 12 years old you are too old for a birthday party. And you essentially have to drag me kicking and screaming if you want to have a party for me. I hate the attention.

Lol10 ReplyI have a great memory for dates and numbers. I've not one friend that ever remembered mine. Except Lynn Brown in 1997. She six years older than me and was a waitress in Longview, Texas. She is one of a kind.
