This has the opposite effect for men, from what i’ve seen and been told. I never tried it; felt deceptive to me. I couldn’t imagine an interaction in which i wouldn’t have to lie my ass off to entangle a woman with such a facade, and that’s never been me.
I have known a few guys who did it and regaled the results. I went hopping with one who proved it to me in person. It was surprisingly effective. Still i don’t approve.

I agree - rings draw a lot more attention to the person wearing it than those who don't.
For some reason, when I wore my wedding rings, some single guys had an attraction for me. More than when I didn't have a ring on my wedding ring finger.
Probably because they knew with a married woman they could get what they wanted with no strings attached. That's my guess. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, I did few years ago.. for a long time because I was getting approached multiple times a day. Few of them would approach me over and over again even though I politely declined them. I was so fed up and I was also going through a breakup. I just didn't want to be approached at all, so I started wearing that to keep guys who took an interview in me away.

In college I wore an engagement ring which was half true. I was in a relationship but not engaged but it made it easier than having to explain anything, like if I was at a club or something and someone would ask me to dance I would smile, show my ring and go back to drinking.

I only wear 2 rings, and they're both on my right ring finger. One is a silver ring, the other is a braided rose gold ring.

The braided rose gold ring means the most to me, as it's the ring my mum wore everyday since she was a teen and I took it off her finger the day she passed and slid it on my hand.

I wear them for nobody but myself
