You know how scriptures say GOD created people and everything.. but he just doesn't have a permanent residence or relationship? Why is that? Is God an orphan?
What are your thoughts.. share them

Okay, I’m assuming you’re talking about Jehovah here in which case the answer is: No, according to some extremely ancient religions. (I’m very excited to talk about this)
So, where does this start? Yahweh is the Hebrew name for the jewish god from which Jehovah comes from. Originally in the first descriptions of the bible there was Yahweh and Elohim. It’s important to note that while these names are used interchangeably, this was NOT always the case. Yahweh was considered the “primary” god but, according to very, very old translations Elohim actually ranked above them. Yes, Yahweh made the world and mankind and did all the stuff with Abraham, etc. but Elohim was considered to have more “important” things to handle than the world. We’re not 100% sure exactly, mostly just because information on this is extremely limited due to the fact that these were all oral traditions, almost nothing was written down. The only time they did start writing it was shortly after the Babylonians began their occupation of Israel and they rapidly began to realize their religion would be lost if it wasn’t written down. Books lasted a lot longer than people back then. It’s hard to say exactly why it was presumed this way, maybe judaism was always a little polytheistic in the beginning, maybe they were adapting to babylonian trends of the time (much like how they adapted the tale of Gilgamesh to Noah), maybe this was just a different sect of judaism than the monotheistic one that we know today. Regardless, Elohim and Yahweh were at once considered different and considering Elohim ranked above Yahweh, it’s probably safe to assume that was his “parent” of sorts. And since Yahweh eventually became Jehovah, we can say that the christian god is not an orphan. He just doesn’t like talking about his dad lol
"God" whatever that is is not human. Not biological. Not physical. Not even a he or a man. Therefore God is something that became conscious in the universe. So no. God wasn't born at least not biologically so has no parents. And needs no "relationships". Think of God not as a being but as an entity like the planet itself. Alive and creating through molecular construction of the biology, chemicals, physicals and science that exists from all the particles of the universe.
That's how I look at it, too.
The phrase "every creature is the universe observing itself"
suggests that all life and matter are a unified part of the cosmos, and consciousness is a way for the universe to experience and understand itself through countless individual perspectives. From a physical perspective, all matter is composed of the same universal elements, and on a quantum level, the act of observation influences reality, implying a deep connection between observers and the observed. Philosophically, this idea posits that the separation we perceive is an illusion of the ego, and our individual lives are diverse manifestations of a single, larger cosmic process.
@Kelly6 random but I just learned today that blackheads are like 6 billion times bigger than our sun!
Damn... just think how small and insignificant WE are considering that our planet is so much smaller than the sun which in turn is like an atom in the universe!
Mind blowing..
Makes even "God" pretty small 🤯😦😱
Yes, and so is Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. Also it's turtles all the way down.
My thought is that God isn't real.
I was raised to believe in the Trinity, which effectively means that God is his own father, so not an orphan.
My aim on Girls Ask Guys is to sprinkle some relationship wisdom. Talking about God's "relationship status"? Now that's deep! 😄 God's got a unique vibe, creating everything, yet not tied down by an address or traditional relationship. Not sure if "orphan" fits, but it's like He's the ultimate independent spirit, you know? 📿 It's more about being everywhere at once, kind of like Wi-Fi but divine! Humans can't tether the divine, and that's what makes Him mysterious and magical. 🌌

Technically there is community in the godhood because God is love.
Father, Son, Holy Spirit
Trinity theology is kind of impossible to fully understand because it's like an ant trying to understand quantum physics. It's multiple layers of complexity, but it is very simple to grasp the family dynamic.
Mybe that as well. He certainly is an undocumented illegal alien. can't proof me otherwise.
GOD IS YOUR CREATOR
