What does it mean when my boyfriend will post something on a social platform but not answer my text. ?

That tells you something. People get busy and if it’s not a emergency I can understand not replying immediately. But if someone has time to post on social media and scroll for hours but too busy to return a text.

Obviously…. Unless you’re blowing someone up 24/7. But it says something.

It means that texts and social media never mean anything and never will. Call him. Sit down for a coffee with him. And talk.

that i missed him and was excited to see him, he responded “i miss you more” and i haven’t heard from him in about 2 hrs when he just posted and story. we also had a convo referring to his responses and how it takes long and he said he will work on it but I don't know.

Maybe I am confused, but you just said he responded "I miss you more". Is that not responding?

that was the text i sent the last one he answered. i then was asking what he wanted to do bc we are seeing eachother later, no response.

I mean, it is anyone's guess, but it could be trying to figure out what he wants to do and just doesn't have an answer to that yet. If you are seeing him later, I would not worry about it too much.
