If you had to say "I love you" without using those words, how would you do it?

Everyone knows what unconditional love is, but when someone asks us to tell them what it is, that puts conditions on it and makes it a little more difficult to explain... So we say something like how a parent loves their kid. But, without kids thats hard to understand. Heck there are parents that dont love their children also...

So, if I had to explain unconditional love to someone i would say its like the feeling when you ask a stranger if they are ok? And they just start crying because no they aren't ok but you noticing them made them a little better...

How would you tell a stranger "I love you!" Without those words?

Interesting question. 🙃 When I love someone (whether as a family, friend or more than a friend), I tend to think about their needs/wishes before mine, and I'm more attentive to their feelings.

Like, let's say if I had an argument with them or they did something that annoys me, I'm still going to do things for them even if I don't want to talk. Not because they're expecting or anything... Because I still feel like doing things for them. Like I'll pick up something that I know that they'll like or cook something that they like because they mentioned they're craving it.

I'd try out things I wouldn't normally try because they are excited about it. I'll also try to sort whatever issue we have before the day ends, so our relationship won't turn sour. This is my way to show that they matter to me, and I love them.

However, I don't know how I would tell a stranger I love them... I mean, I can't love a stranger 😅

Considering I'm bad at these things, because I've confessed my feelings before and been rejected two times, I'm a girl eventually I have a right to be passive. And I wait for a "I love you" from a guy; I wouln't say it myself.

A stranger? The love we have for strangers is general, not specific to a person. If you are hoping for a relationship with someone, start a conversation without expectation. If they engage, then ask them to lunch or whatever. Do not offer gifts or favors to someone you don't know. That's creepy.

I would argue love that has conditions isn't the wholeness love is. What do you mean there is love and there is staying in a relationship? Love isn't suppose to be a cause for why we stay in relationship... Its the effect a relationship has on us.

I tried that in 1st grade and the teacher got my note, read it to the whole class. It didn't say I love you though it said I like you. Im glad I can laugh about that now. Lol it wasn't funny to me at the time...
