Now of course you KNOW i will spout the wisdom of ages and say "Don't do it." however experience has shown me that I did give my silly ex a second chance.

To split hairs a little, I'll say this. If the person BLOCKED you... then there is a reason for it and just don't cross that line again. If the person "ghosted" it's perhaps ok to presume something didn't align and a second chance MIGHT be warranted. But don't invest yourself as much as you originally did.

No. I had one ex do this to me too (after 9 months of dating).

I would however invite a conversation to get closure. A younger me truly believed that was possibly.

But in my experience women aren’t motivated by general principle when it comes to making amends with former partners. If they do reach out again, it’s because there is still something in it for them.

But once they lose feelings for a man they don’t feel guilty for treating like he is less than human. If they are “nice” it’s more about self preservation (scared of making an ex getting violent) or what other people think of them. But as for guy himself they really don’t feel guilt for how they made him feel. Men are expendable.

Also there are few women on GAG I’ve gotten in conversations about this topic. These were so called “feminist but willing to debate” women. We would go back and forth about several issues. It would escalate sometimes but they never block me or give up on the debate.

But this one. This one drove them nuts and I’ve had two of them block me over it. Becuase way deep down they know it’s true.

This is a one is a very deep dark secret about female nature. A secret that they think men don’t understand and / or they have treated a few men as less then human themselves but they don’t want to own up about it. If they did it would take away from their “victim” status. In fact it would be the most credible criticism against feminism possible: women ARE “special” just for existing and men are not.

They don’t want men to figure this one out. But many already have. Women are told it’s socially acceptable to “follow your heart” nowadays. So it’s “okay” to treat men like they are less then human (for the great crime of no longer being considered valuable to them) .

They used to be better about this. Not because they ever cared about what the man they rejected felt about them. No. They are worried about other people think of them. Now they are no longer worried about that.
