If my boyfriend almost kissed another girl should I stay?

So I've only been in a relationship with him for 4 months (we started as flatmates and still live together), and he went away for the weekend, got really drunk and tried to kiss a girl he had a crush on ages ago. She rejected him and reminded him he had a girlfriend, then as soon as he got home he told me and was really apologetic. He feels really bad about it, and nothing actually happened, but I just wonder what could have happened if she had been into it. He says he has learned his lesson and can't believe he would do that to me, but I wonder if he actually takes our relationship seriously...

Yeah now that he find out he has no chance with his old crush he will take you "seriously" perhaps. It's up to you if you want to be with him but if my boyfriend ever chased another girl that was not me I would leave. It's just so disrespectful I would never forgive him and always have to watch every step he made. I would rather just break up with him than to live in a relationship where I couldn't trust my partner.

If he told you then he cares about you . That's a good sign and it didn't happen. Of course you should keep your guard up but you should still give him a lot of respect and trust
