Bf in navy seps... how to contact? How long will he be there?

My boyfriend went to boot camp but is being sent home for a medical reason. He told his mom not to tell me (I guess he didn't want me to be upset or worried or he's afraid of what I'll think) and that he is writing me. Has anyone gone through this before? How long does it take to get through seps and be released? It's been two weeks now and not a letter or anything. I'm worrying so much because I know where he is and want to mail him but I don't want him to get mad at his mom for telling me when he asked her not to. I just really want to know when he'll be home and speak to him.

I'm kinda going through the same thing with my boyfriend atm, however he was severely injured while overseas. My boyfriend was injured in mid September, and he is still recovering in a hospital overseas. I'm not sure how much longer it will be, mostly depends on his recovery.

As for your boyfriend, not sure how long it will be either. I think a lot depends on the injury he has and how his recovery is going. And for what its worth, I don't think he will get mad if you write to him; it just shows that you genuinely care for him.
