Should I show him this poem that I wrote for him? Or would it be weird?

Here's the poem below, but my friend moved away and no he's moving back to where I live, and i'm going to see him again. we kinda fell out of touch, but we talk on the pone here and there. So I wrote a poem about him, but I don't know if I should show it to him or mail it, or whatever! Or if it seems weird and creepy? You tell me! Here it is.

I feel so empty, please fill my heart with your baby blue eyes, brighten my room with your crystalized smile. Make me feel alive again with your jocular personality. Let's take a moment, and see through each other's eyes, the pain, the love, the sorrow, and the fright that lies behind, and I will diminish your pain, I will break the cold with my warmth. I will sink into your world and become you. I will show you what you've never experienced before, I will protect you, I'll unveil and let you into my world. Whatever you do don't lose track, don't get lost, if you do, find your way back. Find your way back to me. I am always here waiting for that gregarious soul, I am always here for you. I will swing on the clock and wait for the time to tick, for us to be together again. May not be now, May not be sometime soon, but I will never lose sight of those baby blues. I will never let myself drift away from you. My heart still burns for you. My body is in sync with you. No matter what our love is profound.

So guys what would be your reaction to a poem like this? would you think it's weird? beautiful? should I mail it or show him it?

It's a beautiful sentiment. However, you have to understand the nature of your relationship with this guy. You say he is a friend of yours. Was he a boyfriend at one time? How close are you now (I don't mean geographically; I mean emotionally)? If you two are together or have talked about being together, then I think he'd be very happy to receive a poem like that. If you aren't together, if this is straight out of the blue, then it can be very intimidating, even though it's a very sweet sentiment.

If you are giving him this poem to show how much you love and care for him and his feelings are reciprocal, then there's nothing creepy about it at all. If, on the other hand, you're giving this poem in the hopes of sparking some chemistry, I doubt the poem will do that. That will happen one way or another with or without your poem. If you're not sure how he feels and you want to tell him how you feel, perhaps just good ol' telling him might be better.

I hope things work out, if not with him, then with a man who loves you and who will (no doubt) be overjoyed to receive a poem from you. Take care now.

Thank you so much! We never dated, because it was always bad timing. Everytime I was single he had a girlfriend, everytime he was single I had a boyfriend. He told me how much he loves me and I told him how much I love him, but our lives got extremely hectic, and then he moves so it made htings harder for us, but we still kept in touch. We were just always good friends, and I just think this is my chance, cause he chose to actually move back here. He won't tell me the reason, but i'm hoping it's

I think because we always had such a strong friendship that we are so afraid to take it to the next level, cause we're afraid of blowing it, and I feel like it's my chance, and I feel like I kinda have to be the one to grab the bull by the horns and getting this relationship moving into another direction. There is that chance though he will reject me, but hey, all I can say is that I tried, and I will still be friends with him. Thank you!

How well do you know each other? I'd feel a bit uncomfortable hearing that if I didn't know you very well. It seems to be fit for someone you're already in a relationship with or at least dating or just very, very good friends.

Thanks! We were good friends since we were kids, and we were close friends in high school, but then he moved out of state when I was 18 and then we became (long distance friends) cause we would chat on the phone here and there, but we didn't make it a priority really to call each other. When we do talk to each other though, it's like our connection and bond is still there and is very strong. The flood of emotions always comes back. So I would say we are very good friends. Thanks!

From my point of view I say go for it ! Give him the poem , let him know how you feel. Two things can happen: he can be moved by your poem and confess he has feelings also or he might not feel the same. Either or its a risk you must take. Act with your heart see where, it takes you
