12 Tips for Christians on Living a Productive Life - May 28th, 2020

Worship Leads to Dreams

When you worship God, He fills you with Godly dreams and "kosher" visions of your life - or clean visions of your life - when you want or desire something - you will want it and get it according to the rules and according to God's standards and expectations about your life - for example a sales associate will earn money by improving his product and not by scamming people with lies


Love leads to self-control

somebody without self-control is somebody without love but when they increase their love they increase their self-control
somebody with too much control loves the wrong things - such as loving power or dominance or praise or power or idolatry or convenience or sloth or loves things the wrong way such as a parent who tries to make their child successful with verbal abuse


Teaching leads to responsibility

When God teaches you have responsibility
When you teach other’s you have responsibility
When you teach others the wrong way you have responsibility


Instruction leads to self-respect

When you lack social respectability - you have to learn what rules govern your life - learning social cues and social expectations and social foundations and social etiquette and learning professional codes - at my Costco job - I wasn't fully trained until I had worked for 3-4 months cause they train you as you go and not in the first week since they don't have time to train you until you have been with them a while


Labour leads to forgiveness

when you labour for God, God forgives you
when you labour for your boss, your co-workers overlook your mistakes if you are hard working
when you labour for God or for humans - God gives you the grace required to forgive and gracefully accept others
when you work hard you become more tolerant of difficulty and challenge and short changing and discomfort such as changing diapers or caring for a stupid parent who will not get better


Support leads to faithfulness

when you support and encourage others you benefit from both God and from human beings
when God or humans support you - they expect payments of loyalty in return


Gatherings lead to justice

when you gather people socially you gain momentum and benefit to support your social cause or employability at work
when you gather knowledge - you gain positive reward and blessing from God
when you gather possessions you are better able to attain the lesser important needs and requirements of life such as eating quality sea food as opposed to canned fish


Keeping leads to collectivism

when you maintain the cleanliness of your house and the health of your body and the excellence fo your work - you acquire better social opportunities and communities for your life - before I got my life in order - I hung out at community centres full of retired convicts and drug addicts and now most of my friends are humanitarian minded scholars I see in my middle class church


Romance leads to self sacrifice

marriage and children lead to duties and sacrifices and responsibilities and people who routinely break commitments like serial daters have higher rates of suicide and depression and drug use


Counting leads to resistance

when you count money and live stingy lives by counting sins or personal possessions or status symbols and signs of respect or disrespect in people - you face resistance by God and by family and by friends and by human beings and alienate bosses with constant bickering and fighting
when you count God's blessings by living a good life and count God's word by using deduction and induction and count God's merit by quantifying information in your mind - you become resistant to worldly sins in the same way spiritual wealth protects you from spiritual poverty


Helpfulness leads to leadership

when you help others at church - you are given leadership roles
when you help people at work - you are given promotions
when you help your friends - you become the trusted confident people rely on and go to for advice and consider essential pillars in your social community
when you help your children with their lives - they repay you with their love and loyalty and time and companionship


Healing leads to vision

as you advance yourself socially and professionally by refining and perfecting and improving past wrongs and behaviours and mistakes - God enables you to better sense and perceive and relate to and understand and reflect and engage the world around you so that you act with knowledge and experience and strategy and aren't just a clamouring bell or blathering idiot or wasteful cesspool of conflict and fighting
