How I interpret the kingdom of God and His Righteousness

Matthew 6:33
Says seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you

Before declaring this, Jesus said do not worry about what you will eat or drink or what you will wear for clothing

So I’ve concluded that to seek God’s kingdom involves seeking God’s Truth

While to seek God’s righteousness involves seeking God’s forgiveness

You must seek out the truth for yourself

And seek out God’s forgiveness both for yourself and others by forgiving those who shortchange you and praying for those who shortchange God and by attempting to atone for your failures while showing remorse and repentance from them and pleading with God and thanking or repaying him for forgiving you

Than everything you need in the physical and social and spiritual and aesthetic realm will be added unto you

More or less, yes. The kingdom of God is to see things as he sees them, and once you do that, everything else will make sense and you'll know what to do to take care of the rest.

"kingdom of god" or "davids kingdom" is often confused with some mystical otherwordly place but in reality, that's just short for the rulership of the 12 jewish tribes over the country of israel that at the time jesus was alive, was occupied by the romans.

it was nothing but jesus fighting for his birth right of being a ruler in a country that was currently being occupied as his father was one of the 12 tribe leaders and the great grandson of abraham, who is A: said to be the original tribe ruler of the jewish people and also the first original "god follower" xD not a smart move as that famously got him killed by the romans for treason. as the romans didn't exactly appreciate those pesky rebells trying to get them out of the country.

Im thinking it's simply saying the first priority is seek God, I think that's right. To me that means connecting my heart with God, a conscious choice. Everything else is just stuff for this world which is lesser importance than heaven.

@Calgarydirty69 I accepted it around 30+ and over years as I understood humans better and my own issues, I saw the truth/brilliance. It's not easy to get. It's not logical. Answer, it makes sense and it is of highest value. A logical person will discard it. God is not logic.
What about covid, what's that mean? Got nothing to do with God. God to me is love, this world made by God... everything is, but the world is not love. In essence I guess, God to me is love = emotion = energy. It's a heart matter, not a science question. Came to us in form of Jesus so could see what looks like in human form.
The biggest challenge is not God... the challenge is our wounded ego's that convince us we are separated from God. Luckily we are in a free country where we can explore and choose our beliefs. I used to be nothing... I didn't know, didn't believe, thought it was garbage. I learned by seeing the value in Christ.

No but I’m interested in working as a Christian counsellor or religious psychotherapist. I just don’t have the credentials for it yet - been to busy to go back to school.
