Jesus said in Matthew 23:4, that ministry is not about telling people what to do, but giving them the knowledge and tools that they need to do what you tell them to do. Like, it’s one pastor spent years telling me to forgive others and when I asked him how to do it because I could not do what he taught, he concluded I was a bad Christian and kicked me out of his bible study. Later when I got my first boyfriend, he convinced him to dump me saying I was not a real Christian because I did not forgive those who sinned against me.

As I mentioned in previous posts, one verse in scripture that finally enabled me to forgive, is the verse in proverbs which says God will deliver you and avenge your if you wait for him and the verse in Luke and Matthew which says when people give you a hard time, God will compensate you for what you went through so that you will not suffer in vain. A bad preacher tells people they should become good but does not tell them how to do what he asks them to do.

Like a Christian minister in my university would tell me every week I was a bad person because I had never given my full heart to God, but he purposely avoided telling me what I needed to do to get ready to give my full heart to God, which was pray to God about others, and help even if no emotional involvement is tied in with my good deed, this guy intentionally tried to sabotage my faith by giving me advice he knew I could not follow because he was jealous my christian life was easier than his.

The bible says evil preachers who judge instead of helping will be condemned to hell.
