How I view Songs of Songs

To me, songs of songs is a book about the romance between the human beings and Jesus and the the physical descriptions are allegory.

When the bible says, my breasts were like towers, I believe it means, my kindness was like a shield and status symbol

When it says my cheeks are like pomegranates, I believe it means, my joy is in the delight of little details

The bible goes into great detail about male and female relationships but a lot of it is allegorical

For example it says the lips of an adulteress is a narrow well

the narrowness representing her impersonal and controlling nature and the well symbolizing the difficulty of emotionally reaching somebody with unattainably high standards and the struggle of satisfying your emotional needs when your involved in that type of relationship
