What the bible says about achievement

The bible says that he who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles the self will be exalted

The way I view this verse, is that those who honour, respect, serve, and consider others and share their happiness with them will be promoted and given advantages.

And those who dishonour, disrespect, abuse, oppress and rob others will be demoted and disadvantaged in their lives.

I know one girl who is always seeking to dominate the conversation and direct dialogue exclusively to herself and she always has a minimum of 2 health problems and over 8 different health issues a year, and I know another woman who never draws attention to herself that is in happy and blissful marriage, with endless money and people who love her, even though she is disabled.

God won’t bless you if you refuse to bless others.

This is an excellent point. Think of people you know who are selfless and make things work. That's who the passage refers to. The world is a better place because of them.
