Every time I ask God to give me a sign about him I get nothing. Does that mean it’s not God’s will?

It means you need to make up your own mind. What is the point of living life of you are only going to follow what someone else says? People need to do what makes them happy and not follow the guidelines of a book that was wrote by man. There is absolutely no proof other what people believe. I have no problem with people if they want to waste their lives following a book. More power to them.

What if you saw a sign from God to be with a guy and you were with him for like five years. Then you find out that he was a serial killer rapist and he has been killing the whole time you were together. Would that devastate your belief in God playing matchmaker?

I am not religious by any means. I find church to be a waste of time when the body is supposed to be the temple of Jesus Christ. If God is be listening then I do I need to go to church to pray? Would he be able to hear me from anywhere since he is everywhere? If there is only one God then how can there be so many different religious all over the world. Or does all other religions not matter except for the one that one person believes in?

My mother died giving birth to my brother. Her liver failed during labor. My brother wasn't in my life very long thanks to a woman that my dad was cheating on my mom with while on business trips. She somehow convinced him to give up my brother for adoption. He gave away the last child from his wife that died bringing him into the world. My brother ended up with a family where the adoptive father raped my brother for years. I found this out because my brother found me after 30 years. Come to find out my stepmother knew and she did nothing to help him. I don't know if my dad knew but knowing how evil she was I am betting if anyone asked she chalked it up to my brother was a problem child and was lying. My brother lived the majority of his childhood locked in a camper out in the driveway. Until he decided to run away and then he lived on the road without a place to stay. No one ever lifted a finger to help or save my brother. I tried when he was 17 but his family kept us from talking. So now my brother is this horrible person because of the harsh reality that he had to endure most of his life. Is this God's will? Because of it is, it seems more like God is a bullying with a magnifying glass and we are the ants getting burned by the sun. Kinda like extortion, either live your life where you have free will or suffer that worst fate possible. I know people that are great people, not saved or religious at all, but they are good salt of the Earth people that would give you the shirt off their backs to help total strangers. But, not being saved or living God's word they will suffer a horrible life is what it boils down.

Being born into the original sin and automatically condemned to a sinner's life is no different than being born into the world and persecuted because of the color of your skin. You are being punished for the wrong doings of another person from the word go. I don't live my life according to God's will but my belief is that when I die that will be it no heaven, no hell, just dead like when I go to sleep. Unknowing of what is going on around me but life is continuing even tho I am not conscious of it. If I am wrong then I will go to hell even tho I have never doing anything horrible except break all the sins and the 10 commandments. But, hanging out with the Devil won't be too horrible because he isn't really a bad guy. He is the warden of Hell who punishes the BAD people kinda like the police and courts do on Earth. So does that make all the judges and cops evil too?

I am not afraid of Hell because I see the demons here on Earth. I watch them kill, rape, and torture innocent people everyday.

God doesn't care who you date. If he did he would just put you with that person like an arranged marriage. If he has this grand plan for each and every person then why choose anything? It should already be laid out and we are just on mindless cruise control

Praying is like wishing, it’s never going to happen. I hate when people say, “if god wills it, it will happen.” It’s just their way of sitting on their ass waiting for something to happen. Sooner or later you’re going to realize that unless you get up off your ass and make something happen, nothing will happen.
So get off your ass and make something happen. If someone tells you “god helps those that help themselves” it really means god is waiting for you to get up off your ass.
People say god knows everything. But then you can’t have free will. Because if god knows that you’re going to do something then you really didn’t have free will because god knew you were going to do that. I make things happen for myself and people say, “well god helped you make thing happen for yourself.” This is insulting because it means I didn’t do anything for myself. It means that he favors other over me because he didn’t give me the things that others have.
After a natural disaster people will thank god they survived and then blame Mother Nature for the disaster. This is bullshit. Mother Nature is pagan belief. If god saved you then why send the disaster? Why do people always thank god after the win the big tournament? Do they think they were more worthy than the losing team? Do they thank god for losing?
Basically I’m saying get off your ass and ask the guy.
And like god with prayers, I will not be responding to any replies.

Your experience was the exact experience I had as a child. That's when I stopped believing in god altogether. I found it pointless.

From what I understand, He isn't going guide you through life... it could be a test, it could be you haven't asked the right question, it could be anything. He can't tell everyone everything, you just have to use the lessons you have learnt from the bible and your moral beliefs to guide your actions. I never ask God for signs and stuff. I just use logic to figure everything out such as does this relationship lead me toward or away from God? If it’s no then you shouldn’t be with that person. It’s never about what you want, but what God wants.
