Could someone explain to me how the Taliban is following Islam and it's faith?

I'm finding hard to believe that Muslims are not terrorists when most of the people in Afghanistan support the Taliban and their ways. Just seeing the Taliban going back to their sick religion of Islam.

I have always been told that Islam is a religion of Peace but can't find anything remotely peaceful about Islam and the Taliban followers who enact the Quran and it's belief system.

The Taliban use an interpretation of the faith as an excuse to rule with an iron fist of terror and justify atrocities. If they were all such radical, devoted believers to their own self-proclaimed faith, there wouldn't be any elderly leaders because they would've all martyred themselves in some petty conflict before hitting 25.

ISIS is pretty much the same thing, and the two groups are in open warfare with each other. Why? Because it's really about power and control, not zealous faith. This is also why ISIS's leader in Syria died a crying b*tch instead of fighting to the bitter end, and why bin-Laden had effectively removed himself from the field and gone into hiding for years.

You do understand that the Afghanistan has been Muslim this entire time, right? I mean all those 21 years of life you have, when you liked Afghanistan. . . Afghanistan was Muslim.

They didn't just become Muslim in the last few days. In fact, centuries before you were born, they were Muslim.
