Do you believe friends at church are nicer than friends outside?

I used to have a non religious friend who found my keys and did not return it to me because she loved to create problems for me and wanted me to be at a disadvantage. Another time she charged me 40% interest on a $40 loan when I did not have cash after eating out and she worked at a bank a 10 minute walk from the place I had my meal at and I asked to borrow money. I had another friend who told me 14 year old girls that date 28 year old men are making intelligent economic choices and not victims of abuse, and she got angry when I disagreed and another non believer spent 3 months pretending to be my friend and posted all my secrets online along with my contact details for the whole world to see. I never had a non religious friend with a decent personality. Even my non religious family treat me worse than religious strangers at church.

I have close friends that are deeply religious and I have close friends that are not. Of these religious types, many are Christian and several are Islamic. I have two friends that are Buddhists. I can't tell any difference between any of them.

Hell yah! I’ve seen it! I’ve even slowed contact with my other friends just to see if my church friends can make me happier, it did. They love me and care for me more than anyone I have ever known! Besides my mom, she’s awesome! Love u mom! Lol! Point being, they are more kind and happy to be around me compared to any of my other non Christian friends. Not that people should be compared.

I am religious myself. I am a Christian a follower of Christ. I can speak that when you seek God he gives us discernement and wisdom for every situation in our lives. The Holy Spirit is within us so we are able to treat everyone with kindness. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forberance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Nope not always. There’s always nice people in an spit of a church. I’ve met some honestly amazing people at church and then other times some horrible people. Same with people outside of church, some are horrible and some are nice.
So no I wouldn’t say nicer, it’s just like friends elsewhere

Yes, I would say so. I live in a rural area & it's a very small church. I think the most people I seen at one time was around 20. I never leave anything in the collection plate but donate time instead. The pastor & I developed a great relationship like this.

Church here is kinda different vibe than church wherever you're from. It's not exactly a social hub. The social churches are what I call the nutjob churches like the gay cure church and the one I once went to where all the men publicly admitted they masturbate in public confession.

I believe its a lot more to do with the people involved not the place for instance i have a friend and for the past 15 years during football season we meet at the bar drink and watch the game nicest guy you'll ever meet we help each out all the time
You dont need church to be a good a nice and kind person and alcohol doesn't drive those things away in everyone

That's depends on the friend you keep. chuch or outside they are all human, so it's about the way of reasoning of the individual. some hide their self in church but at the end there are evil doers while some out there are better off than those in church. so it's just the individual not the environment

It depends. I've known some pretty rude people IN the church. What's weird is I've interacted with people outside of the church that isn't Christian and they were nicer. To me, it's 50/50.

I don't know what church you're attending, but most of the religious people I've known were liars, thieves and hypocrites, and some were even abusers/bullies and had mental issues.

My Christian co-worker borrowed a book from me like 2 years ago, and has yet to return it, and he almost got our other coworker in trouble.

Another Christian girl cyber stalker and mentally abused me to the point I was having panic attacks and avoiding people for two whole years. So no, just no.

No I have met some superficial and backstabbing people in church, but also dependable and great people. So mu conclusion is that people in church are not so different from people outside of it. Some will be good, some will be bad.
