Out of Judaism, Christianity and Islam? Please I need to choose?
Christianity.
I’m not biased. I have personally left the Christian faith and do not believe in ANY higher deity.
Thing is, the Bible is really efficient in how things correlate and provide many great life lessons and metaphors.
Not only so but the biggest thing is- it’s a stress free religion that truly lets you heal and find the best path of goodness.
Why?
It teaches resiliency, and not only so,
it’s the only religion that teaches: TRUE LOVE.
The love of man (son of God), named Jesus, has a love so ideal and high standard, and so truly intense and loyal.
To the point he gives up his holy life and holy sacred blood, to shed for the evil astray souls of men, supposedly made from dust or just earth itself.
This man is greater than all men because he never married or abused- he wasn’t sexual minded.
Jesus came down as a man, but the hilt spirit gifted upon him had empowered him through every single tribulation.
He saw the sons and daughters of God as no different than children and lambs gone astray and wounded badly.
This religion, should you accept it, would offer you nothing but peace.
I just recommend you be wary of Christians themselves because not all of them are kind. It’s especially difficult for them to be this way if God is non-existent, and there is no Holy Spirit to empower.
Many of them, will be truly kind and helpful in the worst of times. There is moments where you do feel unexplainable peace, and unexplainable joy, and none of this do you have to work for or earn. If you allow it to, and receive it with an open heart, you will find comfort through many of your life’s sorrows, and hope for many of life’s uncertainties and cruel/harsh realities.
My best friend was Islamic and I was Christian; her mother forbade her to speak to me because of my faith. She even slapped her in her face, as quoted by my friend.
I told her about Jesus out of my love only, and I learned to let freewill be evident and presently hers.
We both spoke, but clearly her mother and their religion gave NO allowance for unity of mankind and resolving differences.
It is many of similar religions who had blown up things from other countries including a national symbol of America in 2001.
Despite that, many of them are great people- many disown their religion as it seems unreasonable and hindering.
She herself was my ultimate best friend.
I don’t regret our friendship, and 99% of it was absent of religious talk and just us being kids and living our lives.
Judaism is also divisive- they only believe that they are pure and they reject Gentiles (non-believers), they treat sin harshly and any other blasphemies as does Islam.
Jews rejected and persecuted Jesus, they believe he was just a prophet, as does Muslims believe (I am not too aware but my friend said they believed him to be a prophet).
Jesus IS the symbol and epitome of Love- and Hope.
Restoration. Healing. Understanding.
Paradise.
Jews only acknowledge the old ways and the behavior of God to sin, before Jesus arrived.
Christians acknowledge Jesus coming and God sending, and his sacrifice to make right the wrongs. That is the core of the faith, and it is supposed to unite people on earth and unite loved ones after death.
If you are against unity, love, hope, forgiveness, and comfort- then Christianity is NOT for you.
The other two would be ideal for you.
(I didn’t check my punctuation or grammar on this; apologies in advance for it’s probably extremely unappealing display. The message of it was important to me and I am also ready to retire to sleep).
Best to you!
on your journey, your choice here, you’re choices overall, and your life.
Nothing but wellness and gladness to you 🤙

What happened? What caused you to leave Christianity and be a atheist?

@Hispanic-Cool-Guy well it’s a long story, and I don’t wish to get into it, and share my disbelief with other Christians. Many Christians need the hope of Christianity, like my family. My friends who still believe that, so I don’t speak to them why they shouldn’t believe. Many times I simply had to hold the truth about existence. It was probably a bit uneasy for me since I had once believed in amazing things about our existence and to realize match of it wasn’t true, had made me essentially fall from a positive extreme to a seemingly negative one in that context.
Christians aren’t harmful for what they believe. Believing in Santa never hurt anyone.
I don’t believe in Jesus but I know Incan look to his actions and teachings.
Him- mythical or not, was the most loving man to ever “walk the planet.”
So for me that will never change, and that’s why I can sit with my family and watch a-
Yes, you and everybody, consider watching the Chosen show! 😂 It made me cry a lottt lol
(It’s the backstories of the disciples but shows their personal struggles as they followed Jesus and how he helped them overcome and grow with him).
I won’t believe it, but I still find it touching, and don’t reject the unity of those who MEAN WELL.
Christianity I do owe recognition to for it helped me construct the moral compass of my life.
I admit I am not nice to people as I had once been with Christianity, but I still do care about people, and that comes out when I see their goodness; their weakness; their sadness. When they have humble dreams. It’s those who I have a sweet spot for, otherwise I treat all humans as the adults who need to mature as they ought to be, and will argue in some many nasty ways too, the ones who seem deceitful, aggressive, and other not very nice things.

You sound like you are contradicting yourself on several points.

@Daniela1982 how so? I’m curious.
I won’t debate this either

I can't believe that anyone with as much knowledge of Jesus would deny that there is a God. After all, Jesus is God too, as is the Holy Spirit. One God with 3 distinct personalities, as it were.

What really matters is this, is the Bible true or not?
If God doesn't exist, then it is just another philosophy. Otherwise, it's the word of God, with a message.
The Bible does indeed provides efficient life lessons and metaphors, and Christianity is a stress-free religion that promotes resiliency and true love. They believe that the love of Jesus, who gave up his life to save others, is unparalleled and offers peace to those who accept the religion.
It's also true that not all Christians are kind. However, when contrasting to Islam and Judaism,
it's not about divisive, or even about value unity, love, hope, forgiveness, and comfort, it's about truth. - +1 y
@smølf I loved really how you rephrased and summarized my claims so well tbh!
You have a good understanding of my presentation and Christianity itself
BUT
I disagree at the ending
For me it is only truth in comparisons and contrast with all other religions.
In that sense it may be truth- the truth, yes… but for me it is all unreal when applied to our existence itself, life after, and the existence of God.
That is just me and I won’t go against your words either, so if you’d repeat it I’d just say okay lol - +1 y
@Daniela1982 it’s not about the knowledge- I have waited for something more important than knowledge Daniela
The very real presence of God is above the teachings of scripture
It’s above the chronology and the descendants
It’s above the laws itself.
It’s above the message
It’s above yes, even the blood of Christ.
To have been WITH Jesus
To hear the voice and to behold god was the greatest rich in anything imaginable or unimaginable
And Adam and Eve gave that treasure away.
The rest was a rebound and redemption and testing and testament of love
But for me… I looked passed it all and staved the very thing at the beginning
When there was nothing
But the void… but god
And the unwritten word
But the words itself being god
He was my everything, and only found out he wasn’t real.
That is how you get someone who knows as much as I do
Who has read the books
And been saved since age 7, to make that DIFFICULT decision to walk away.
I left with hesitancy and NO impulsiveness whatsoever
And if im being honest: it was a longer process of me walking away
Than when I was 7 and accepting God into my heart- by my own decision COMPLETELY!
I asked my mother and ran and hurried to the front to ask Jesus into my heart. - +1 y
I prayed that sinners prayer.
I had my name “written in the lambs book of life.”
I wanted him to be my new and forever friend.
That moment is in such contrast of when I left.
I left with needing much more evidence to consider before I could just abandon a childhood friend whether real or imaginary.
And I did.
That’s just my story.
Let it contradict I am not here to
Preach anything to anyone.
It is simply my story and a tell of woe.
Now I live on and in a world that doesn’t seem like the one talked about by a man named Jesus, and for me there is not hope of a gift of another one after.
I only tell you and others to choose what you wish to believe, but out of all religions
Yes, as smolf said, Christianity IS the most comforting and one where loneliness dissipates altogether. - +1 y
@Rosexøxø
It is certainly a valid perspective to approach religious beliefs from a comparative and contrasting perspective. However, this perspective may not necessarily lead to a conclusion about the truth or reality of a particular religion. The truth and existence of something is not always subjective and dependent solely on personal perspectives and beliefs.
In addition, it is important to recognize that religious beliefs can have a profound impact on individuals and communities, shaping their values, morals, and actions. Therefore, it is valuable to critically examine and engage with religious beliefs, rather than simply dismissing them as "unreal."
Ultimately, it is up to each individual to determine their own beliefs and understanding of religion and the existence of God. However, this process should involve a thoughtful and open-minded exploration of different perspectives and evidence.
PS: why the ø in your name? - +1 y
@smølf yes, I understand all of that and I wish to clarify my perspective was based on my very valid relationship with God.
My conclusion doesn’t mean I was wrong
I was very reasonable and logical about it.
I love how you said their inclusiveness to people’s lives should be established for their moral benefits and I’d agree. It would be difficult for non religious people to understand this because when they don’t like is and falsify it they see no value impulsively
It is more emotionally fueled than logically supported.
I agree about the individual choices you mentioned and support that 100%
The ‘ø’ was to make my name noticeably different than a regular ‘o’.
The xoxo itself was not only a symbol of love to those who are kind and those hurting
But it was a farewell for I have left many beliefs behind and at one time I had believed I was leaving this life behind.
That was the reason for my name choice.

Christianity.
God's love is like no other. He loves you more than anyone and anything can ever love you. He sent his Son, Jesus, to die on that cross for you.
Can you imagine? Loving someone (who does not know you) so much that you let your own son die for them? That is the magnitude of God's love. He never stops loving. Even so when you do not know God, he is still mindful of you and knows you. God Loves You. Jesus Loves You. With the most wonderful, purest, unfathomable love.
Jesus Loves You. Does not matter who you are, what you have done, where you are, Jesus absolutely 100% loves you.
(Be wary though. There are loads of "christian" cults that deviate from the teachings of the bible. Best not to associate with them.)20 Reply

+1 yYou desperately like everyone else need your sins forgiven and salvation from the wrath to come.
Forgiveness of sins and salvation is only found in Jesus Christ alone.
Repent and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ unto salvation.
Pray to God in faith to help you find a good Biblical sound church in your local area and read your Bible (I strongly suggest NKJV version)
Be extremely careful what church you go to and who you listen to.
Just because it says church doesn't mean it's sound Biblically.
You must read and stick with the Bible, and not follow what man tells you.
If you have any questions, let me know.

+1 yI'm Christian. I believe that Christianity is the way because God took on our humanity to rescue us from ourselves. He suffered and died because he did the right thing and was persecuted for us. And he came back to life. A God who does that I'd follow anywhere. And all he asks is that we follow him. He did all the work for us. Because of that, we're empowered by him to do what is right and good. And we have our mistakes forgiven. Every time we fail, we can just get back up and keep going, because of what he did and does.

@MartaSi which religion?
+1 yTechnically they're all the same concept and they all worship the Abrahamic God... I see no difference except for the culture and racial ones... I mean, Islam is literally Judaism 2.0 with tribal primitive Arabian deserts rules... and Christianity is a mix of Judaism and paganism because it had to be... It was embraced by the Romans... Even Judaism strayed away from its original state throughout history and it's now just an identity... if you're a modern human in the 21st century who's on average way smarter than the majority of people back in the these old times.. you just can't help but laugh at Abrahamic religions... But that doesn't mean there's no God and spirituality doesn't exist... It just means Abrahamic religions are flawed and primitive...

But don't follow the road of needing to pick one of adopt these beliefs, you can form your own opinions and forming your own opinions is a far better spiritual journey.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yWait, so you believe in the Abrahamic god and want a faith built from it? If so, just do you in your own way, you don't need a validation of anyone else. I think that if you are in a dilemma between religions, you should choose none, because it's not coming from inside you. I assume you don't believe in Jesus, or Muhammad and such, because of your dilemma. I am a secular jew, I am not religious. Anyway, do a search if you want, you will see a lot of branches in each religion for example catholic and protestant.

But I personally believe that following Jesus is the best way. Get a Bible and read the story of Jesus' life. There are actually 4 books written about him, so you get 4 different perspectives. They're named after the authors who wrote them: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
How about not follow any so called god?
