Why would God give my brother a special talent that would get him a girlfriend and not me?

So almost 4 years ago now, my little brother (who is 6 years younger than me by the way!), got a girlfriend at the then-age of 21. I was 27 at that time and still didn’t have a boyfriend yet. My parents explained that for getting a boyfriend/girlfriend (in adulthood), “you have to have something to offer!” But in my 20s, I didn’t have “anything to offer” as a potential girlfriend, because I was so busy being obsessively stuck on the fact that I messed up on my career choice, causing me to be always sitting around at home not doing anything, and not even functioning like an adult (because I was obsessively “stuck”). But that didn’t happen to my brother because choosing a career path was so “automatic” for him because he has a special talent for “opera” singing, so naturally he chose to go to college for that and do that for a living. And now he is about to propose to that girlfriend and get married, and I’m still single 😥. And this is all because he has a “magic” talent that automatically got him a career path, and I don’t 🙁. And one time after he did some singing at a church, the church’s priest was chitchatting with my parents afterwards about how talented he is and said something about it being “a gift from God”. So, why do you think God gave him a special talent and not me, ultimately leading to him having a partner when I don’t? 😓 It’s hurtful.💔 I feel like God loves him more than He loves me! 😢

By the way, I don’t want any answers from atheists! 👿 I have nothing against atheists, it’s just that I don’t want to see any answers from any of them. I want this question to be answered by Christians ✝️ only, thank you!

Are you healthy if so that’s a gift. You must be smart that a gift. There must be someone you are interested in (this is 2023 ask someone out). If you think god has let you down take a trip to a rehabilitation hospital/center. Help in your church, join the peace corps, find a club to join, volunteer.
I was in a bad accident. Spent almost six months in the hospital and it was a unbelievable experience. Did god leave me down no because 4 years later he made me notice a beautiful girl who became my wife and then came a beautiful daughter.

I appreciate your suggestion to “cheer up 😃”; that’s kind of you. But I don’t think you understand what happened: when I realized I had messed up on my career choice, I was obsessively “stuck” on it, to the point where it actually kept me from functioning! I have obsessive-compulsive disorder, so being stuck on this kept me from doing ANYTHING! Not working, not learning to be responsible enough to live on my own, not cleaning up after myself, even personal hygiene 😳, not even much exercising, you name it. Being “stuck” on the fact that I messed up on my career choice, really messed me up. So that’s why I had nothing to offer, and I’m not just imagining that, because my parents even said so.

Technically you are your worst enemy here because you believe you are stuck, you can start fresh, new everything, new career, new hobbies etc. You are letting this compulsive disorder chain you up and keep you 'stuck' don't let it control your whole life, after all we are suppose to get back up when life knocks you down, you really will be stuck if you get unmotivated by the obstacles in life.

My brother’s singing talent didn’t have to be “looked” for; as soon as his voice changed during puberty, it was obvious that he could sing 🎤. 😖

Well he discovered it because he happened to already be in his school chorus in middle school. But guess what? So was I when I was the same age! (Even in the same middle school, just at different times because I’m 6 years older). So yeah we both did the same “activity”, but it led him to “find a talent” and not me. 🫤
