Have you ever resisted in a nightmare in any way?

When you have nightmares of some sort, have you ever tried to fight back in it? For example if you saw a ghost in a dream that had a purpose to intimidate you, have you fought back?

In my experience, recently I had nightmares which I have conquered. I always chant 'Allahu Akbar', (god is great), within the nightmare which gives me extraordinary courage. Instead of running away from my nightmarish entity, I run towards it but with intent to destroy it.

I'm a muslim by the way.
