I knew a very religious girl in high school who never cared that much about social status and she beat her selfish but ambitious and hard working competition for highly coveted jobs. Her rank at the business was so high that it was very easy to locate with a Google search. I’m not saying character does not count. I know people who are not affiliated with any church that have outsmarted thousands and maybe millions of competitors for top jobs, but these people had virtue, if not in generosity, in humility and hard work.
I have seen people with good Christian values, intelligent, ambitious get it all.
I have seen people with hateful beliefs, greedy, intelligent get it all.
I have seen people with good Christian values, intelligent, ambitious get nothing.
I have seen people with hateful beliefs, greedy, intelligent get nothing.
This list could go on and on. The point I’m trying to make is that being religious or not makes very little difference in whether you conquers life mysteriously. Free will is an excuse/reason to blame others.
Love is the same as free will, some has it and some don’t.
So what does conquers a good life LUCK, well MONEY also helps.

Yes, some people with zero morals rise to the top and some people with strong morals also rise to the top. It’s almost like we’re given what we’re given and our worth isn’t how much we have but how we use the things we have.

When you pray for something, God will give it to you. Like if you'd like success in your career, you won't get it right away but in a few years from now, down the road of hard work and striving for it, you'll eventually get it and God will give it to you.
Sometimes people get it right away and sometimes people don't get it for many many years. Just depends on what God has planned for you. However, I feel you need to do your part as well. Being a Christian, a believer, and praying to God often.
God has plans for all of us to follow in our life, most people want that amazing career but he'll only give it to us if we also do our part as a Christian as well.
Will we still follow God if we get that good career? If not, if we lose ourselves while we get that amazing job and forget about God, then why would God give us to that job?
He can see everything and if we are religious and followers now but we won't be later when we became rich and/or famous, then there's no point in giving us that dream.
This life is temporary, we should be working to be closer with God because once we are with him after death that will be for all eternity. That's what really matters and what is important.
There are many things good and bad that will happen to us, that needs to happen before we get what we truly desire. Though, God knows what we need and he'll give it to us whether we know it or not.
Just us being alive, having food and water and a roof over our heads instead of being homeless is because of God and we should thank him for showing so much mercy and watching over us with so much love and kindness. We could all be worse off.
For the bad ones who make, how do we not know the devil isn't helping them? They're not good people for a reason.
What sorry I'm kinda confused about your question?
I know often people take advantage of others who are nice and kind.
Often people are just liked by others and given a golden spoon who also befriend others who push them up the ladder.
Usually it is the bubbly cheer leader who makes fake friends and stabs others in the back though.
