If Muhammad was crazy, how 2billion people still believe in him?

This illiterate Man wrote this book called Quran, and still 2billion people from all over the world believe in him, even from the richest countries like america, china, japan , britain etc?

And people still convert to islam. And it even has a past roots such as huge religions like christianity, but islam makes more sense than them.

Man, i definitely think that there are only 2 options even though there are lots of bullshits in the Quran:

1. Islam is definitely from Allah/God. And it is real. Muhammad is the Messenger of god.

2. Muhammad never existed but a big professional company and group of people created this religion and deceived people. Like USA government lied to americans to invade the iraq for oil.

Get few things clear,

1. Size of Ummah in Islam has no measure of being right just because lots of people believe it.

2. Quran was not written by Prophet Mohammad. It was written later by scribes under direction of Prophet.

3. Islam will remain even if no Muslim is left alive. Don't make it about rich Muslims being reason Islam is correct.

4. God reprimanded the Prophet for not showing interest in a Blindman seeking knowledge about Islam in the presence of Meccan lord's and reverting to the Meccan Pagan Lords over the Blindman. This event is directly mentioned in Koran. This is clear proof that God has no need of any such follower nor to have people please such a person who has been granted power over others and if your faith is connected to something just because lots of people are doing it then that faith will be short lived.

Because there are 2 billion people who feel a need to religion in their lives, and Islam is what they choose.

There are even more Chrstians (2.4 billion) and they believe in a different god. Does that mean they are wrong because Allah is the real god?

The "Church" of Scientology has had millions of followers all over the world. L. Ron Hubbard was no god but her served that purpose in a lot of people's lives.

Many people just have a need for religion to simplify explain the world to them, and give them a code to live by. Throughout human history humans have manufactured countless "gods" who they worshiped. Every one was different from the next, but they all served the same purpose and their followers all beieve theirs was the true god. Islam is no different.

A large number also believe in Joseph Smith's ridiculous story about the golden tablets, it the absurd story of original sign and Jesus. But not everyone counted as Muslim believes it. In many Islamic countries it's dangerous to be openly skeptical.
