Why did God make my brain the way He did?

I have an obsessive-compulsive disorder that causes me to get “stuck” on certain kinds of thoughts. For example, boys didn’t like me when I was in middle/high school, and I remained OCD about that for YEARS after I got out of high school. And that obsession has caused me to have behavioral issues that have prevented me from dating! 😢 And also, I have a big problem with controlling my temper because, unlike most adults who handle their emotions appropriately around others, I can’t, because I get so “obsessed” with whatever I get mad or frustrated about, that I’m unable to stop and think about controlling my emotions like an adult. THIS has also prevented me from dating. 😢 Obviously, both of these issues are a result of the particular form of obsessive-compulsive disorder that I have. And obviously God creates our brains, so does anybody have any idea about why He created my brain the way He did?

And I don’t want any stupid atheist answers!!! If I get any of those, I will press the “thumbs down / dislike” button. Thank you!

I think God made all of us right. Just certain triggers activate certain things in us in uncertain ways. School is cruel - trust me I know. The behavior problem probably stemmed from school and festered into what’s going on right now. I think several things you should do.

Meditation - try to bring peace to yourself

Masturbation - bring joy to yourself by releasing all that pent up negative energy

Vacation - Treat yourself to a vacation, or a spa. Do something for you.

@tfan1 There’s something important that you don’t know about the behavior problem: The thing is, I have Asperger’s syndrome (I don’t know if you’ve heard of that), and all Aspies (a nickname for people with it) are different from each other and all have different symptoms. And I compare myself to other Aspies, and it got to the point where without even realizing it, I was very angry about it, causing the behavior problem. And the reason why I compare myself to other Aspies, is because I feel like I’m EXTRA different from other Aspies, because it caused boys to not like me when I was in middle/high school, but yet, OTHER Aspies are still liked by the opposite sex when they are those ages.

He has made you that way so you can seek the right people to help you. They will go onto help others. It's how medical experience builds up.

Hey! 😀 You know what’s very interesting about that? My parents are actually about to start looking for a therapist or two to HELP me!!! 😀 AND they also want to try to find a support group for me to join! 🙂 And I even cry sometimes because I feel so alone in this issue and I’m not around ANYONE else who has this situation! 😥 My parents agree that I really do need to be around some people who have similar issues. So I’ve actually been wondering if God has some kind of a plan for me that has something to do with that! 🤷‍♀️🤔

To test you, whether you still follow Him or not, being Humble, Subimmisive and content with life or not while trying for the best. If you believe in a God, You should know why God has created you right? I e your purpose of creation. That is to obey God and worship Him alone.

I would think in this day and age, so many medications help OCD (Depakote, Luvox, Prozac, Zoloft) Hey it's worth giving one or two of them a try sorry if you don't want medication. I had gone without control of my mental illness and my life sucked, finally when I decided to take medicine then my life is a hell of a lot better. Best wishes for you!

in general all physical topics including brain hormones are caused by genetic. i mean you were not chosen as a target, just god rarely does miracle to INTERFERE with nature.

About anger, this is something we must control. sometimes certain pharmaceutical can help cope. ask that type of doctor.

i reject the notion of a test, because you weren't selected as a target.

the other philosophy here is better: in general people suffer for people to help each other.

You can learn to control your temper there’s professional therapist they can work with you there’s medication there’s exercise you have to fight through it and not give up. I don’t see why you can’t date.

@CuriousChick101 I am really not sure why. But there has to be a reason. Personally, I think your reason for being on this earth is probably something other than your disability. This is probably just a challenge you have to overcome in our journey of life. But don't let it define you. Don't let it hold you back.
