many people believe the world is round, like a round ball without "i need tangible proof" those atheists are bad hypocrites saying that about god.
most people don't "wait for an eclipse" to check if shadow is round... and if cloudy, wait until i "see with my own eyes." can't see the whole earth shadow but believe.
those hypocrites say we need tangible proof for a nonphysical god. hypocrisy!

Faith and "proof" do not go hand in hand. Your doctor gives you medicine on good faith it will work. It could kill you, or give you a side effect that destroys your quality of life. But there is rarely proof he did it deliberately and was out to get you.

Likewise, the flat earth bullshit is just that - the Hebrew does not say what the English translation is alleged to be saying. All these fuckwits taking their flat earth views from a bible are wrong. They are interpreting the English as they want, not the Hebrew as it will prove them wrong.

You only need to get a cheap telescope and look at any planet in the sky, to see how a round planet functions. Nowhere will you find a "flat" one.

Also, you never need prove anything to an "atheist" any more than you need to prove ownership to a thief. Both are the same, they are not interested in your view, only what they can get away with in theirs.

The entire point of my using the second picture and saying "without needing NASA" is that it is NOT a matter of "blind faith", because YOU CAN SEE THE EARTH'S SHADOW ON THE MOON YOURSELF. WITH YOUR OWN EYES. Stop assuming logic is the enemy of God and LOOK AT THE MOON.

now ancient people noticed that lunar eclipse shadow was curved so that meant earth must be a "round plate" and no conflict with flat plate. a shadow is not 3d.

@strateguy632 If the Earth was a flat, circular plate, its shadow would only be circular if the Sun was directly beneath it and the Moon directly above. (Or vice versa, but you wouldn't be able to see it, obviously.) At any other angle, the shadow would be an ellipse. The only shape that casts a circular shadow from any angle is a sphere, so there are only two possibilities: either lunar eclipses are not caused by the Earth's shadow, or the Earth is a sphere (oid).

In response to your update: yes, lunar eclipses happen because of an alignment between the Sun, Earth, and Moon, but the Earth could be tilted at any angle relative to this alignment.

Take a dinner plate, hold it flat above the floor under a bright ceiling light. The shadow is a circle, right? Now tilt the plate towards you. The shadow is no longer a perfect circle.

I've seen pictures and video of the round Earth and every other plant is also round. So far, no flat planets have ever been found.
I have yet to see ANY proof of any kind of a god. If there IS a god, it's done a REALLY shitty job!!
