No learning is ever wasted.
Learning Latin us also helpful in law, medicine, and other sciences, and also for learning modern Romance languages. It can even help expand English vocabulary.

Arabic is one of the most widely read languages in the world thanks to the spread of Islam, I think #5.

I would keep it simple and use a translator. You can learn it too it would be fun to start learning it but finishing it will be hard.

Most of muslims aren't Arabs. The fact we have the Quran it is orginal language is impressive. We need to learn the language as we need to be United by prayers. If you see any muslim praying, you notice that we pronounce the language the same, we are all facing one direction the kaaba in Saudi arabia, we pray the same in any country in the world. There's not a mosque for Arabs, black, white, in Islam, we are the same. We taught that God "Allah" doesn't care about our looks as he creates us nor our wealth , he only cares about your intention in your heart.

It depends. If you are entering a religious order where you will serve a congregation as a priest or pastor, then yes. If you merely attend church and go to Sunday school where people try to impress other people with original Greek and Hebrew for exposition, forget it. You will learn nothing with these kinds of people. Avoid them.
