Yes. As long as he's doing it for medical reasons and isn't going against any rules of the workplace, he can do exams on women. You can say that you prefer a doctor of the same sex if you aren't comfortable with it. I know when I got older, mom had me go to a female doctor since she wasn't sure how I'd react to a male doctor doing exams & touching me. Other than that, I was fine with them. Plus, there will be times where that might not be possible and if all they have is male doctors to do the job then so be it (think of more serious situations and not regular check-ups).

There's nothing wrong with a male doctor treating a female patient. If you prefer being treated exclusively by female doctors and nurses, that's again, your own personal preference, but it's completely halal. The doctor that delivered me and all my siblings was a trusted male family doctor. The doctor that operated on my sister's leg when she was hit by a car as a child was a male doctor. The doctor that treated my sick aunt suffering from heart disease was a male doctor.

As a woman, if you feel more comfortable being examined by a female doctor and vice versa, by all means, it's your right to do so, or go to a different hospital if you feel like it. I never said you must always go to male doctors. I was simply answering the OP's false misconception and nothing else. But sometimes, when it's a life or death situation and you have no choice, you have to settle for whatever doctor you can get.

As I stated, every single doctor me or any of my family has gone to, male or female, they were ALWAYS nothing but professional and helpful. A sleep deprived doctor, regardless of their gender, whose been working endlessly, curing patients of all sorts of mental illnesses, injuries and disorders nonstop doesn't have the time to oggle someone's body and sexually attack them. For them, a body is nothing more than a patient.

My own uncle is a lead senior doctor at a notable hospital in my country. He's delivered so many babies, operated on so many women and men, and has seen so many penises and vaginas in his 35+ year old career that the last thing that would cross his mind is to invade his patients' boundaries.

You are of course, free to believe whatever you want to believe. Like if your pregnant wife's undergoing a premature childbirth during some odd time in the day, and the nearest hospital you can go to only has a male doctor available, you can rest easy knowing that at least you won't be called a cuck by your friends, even if your wife and your child dies. 👍

But to answer you simply, most hospitals don't GIVE YOU THE OPTION to choose your doctor, especially if it's your first time visiting the place. But as a woman, if you feel more comfortable being examined by a female doctor instead and vice versa, if there are multiple doctors available, a lot of hospitals do give you the option to switch doctors. Is that so hard to understand?

And coming to my other point and your personal obvious hatred for male doctors, for whatever reason, again, I disagree. Plus, you likening the USA as a moral example is literally the dumbest thing ever especially when in the next sentence you're admitting that that place is the center for sex and deplorable behavior in the whole world and what a mess it is. I had a male doctor, who is gay (even though that's irrelevant) explain to me the process of induction etc and how it would affect or work on my body. My boyfriend was so angry that it was a male and even made him feel threatened. I'm only familiar with how this work in North America, but you should be able to choose your own doctor. If you're not comfortable with a male doctor, then you would be able to choose a female one instead. However if it's an emergency, you're uncontious, and you need immediately medical attention, then you will be examined by what ever doctor it immediately available. But to answer your question, yes. Male doctors can examine a female patient and vice versa.
