What was Jesus' crime? Would you sacrifice yourself for your religion like Jesus? Or would you like to be crucified on this path like Jesus?

Asking really 2 questions. Historically apocalyptic Jewish prophets were seen as threats to the Jewish and Roman state. Assuming the historicity of Jesus as a man who was a apocalyptic Jewish religious prophet (and I do). Crucifixion was the common form of execution in the Roman empire at that time. The theologic reasoning behind why a Jewish demi god had to be put to death in a painful and public way for his all-powerful father to forgive humanity for their sins against him. Is not something I have the answers for but I think in its own way it has a certain balance to it. If not dramatic and horrific why would it be effective as a sacrifice? In my opinion anyways.
Yes, Jesus was sent to the Jews and was a prophet who was also a Jew. He was sent to complete Judaism and never founded a new religion. Christianity was later founded as a result of the teachings spread by a person named Paul. According to this, Jesus provided forgiveness for all people by sacrificing himself on the cross. However, such a thing cannot be right. People cannot be sinful by birth. Just as it is not right for a person to suffer for the crimes committed by his parents, it is not right for Jesus to sacrifice himself so that people's sins can be forgiven.
1, because pilate the roman was a wuss. with no back bone, no respect for truth nor justice.
2, pilate questioned jesus and found no crime, and even announced "no crime".
3, that is not what jesus even did.
4, i failed to comprehend. But read gospel john the long chapters 16 to end, it answers stuff related to your questions.
I will read the part you mentioned in the Bible. The rest of what you said is true. But I don't think the governor Pilate was a coward. In fact, when Jesus was crucified, the Roman soldiers wrote on a piece of paper "this is Jesus, the king of the Jews." For the Jews, this was a sad thing. Because they caused the death of their own king. In fact, the Jews wanted it to be written on that piece of paper "this is Jesus, who says he is the king of the Jews." But the governor Pilate refused. There is a difference between the two sentences.
If he respected truth and justice he would not kill against justice. He was spineless and a coward of the mob.
He openly spoke out against the Roman empire that was occupying Israel at the time, and he had swathes of people following his ideas. Of course they put him to death
This is wrong. Jesus dealt with the Jews. As he said, he never brought a new religion, namely Christianity. However, the Jews from the Pharisaic sect did not want him and sentenced him to death. He was crucified with the approval of the Roman Governor. Because the governor had to approve the death sentence. Jesus never conflicted with the Romans. His addressees were the Jews and he was a Jew.
I don’t think you’ve actually read the bible, certainly not in a historical context
Whichever one includes how “turn the other cheek” was a call to arms explicitly for the purpose of getting roman soldiers in trouble
Because he was a cult leader, causing problems for established order in a Roman province.

He wasn't.
But the Christians built a myth around it regardless.
He gave his life for us and now he sits next to our heavenly father, the end times are coming the ungrateful will be punished for their ungratefulness, fire and brimstone await those sinners
Well the simple answer is Jesus came to Earth to pay the price for all of our sins instead of us even though he himself never committed sin once. It was God's proof as to how much he loves us.
Not just one sin, but all sins of every person in the world.
He was a heretic and social disruptor. It is what Roman auxiliaries did at the time.
Okay, he was a heretic, social disruptor and prophet. My apologies for any offence caused.
Nobody said 'pervert'.
Because God is a sadistic moron. He could have simply forgiven and not had this bloody so-called sacrifice. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
And who created the world exactly as it is? Who has a plan? Who knew what was going to happen before he even created the world? Who could have created the world differently, but chose to create it this way? That's right, the answer to all of those is your invisible friend. That makes him responsible.
If I do something intentionally - it wasn't an accident, of my own free will - I wasn't coerced, and I knew what the consequences of my action would be, should I be held responsible for the consequences of my action?
Yes? No?
To save us all!
But historical sources do not say so. He dealt with the Pharisaic sect of the Jews. As a result, the Pharisees tried him and sentenced him to death. He was crucified with the approval of the Roman Governor Pilate. Jesus never said that all people are sinners because of the mistake made by Adam and his wife Eve.
To save us from our sins.
