Do you believe in reincarnation? How do you explain true stories of people waking up different?

i believe the reincarnation thing is Asian, but there are stories all around the world of children to adults having some kind of situation where they fall unconscious for a period and then have full lives already lead, knowing languages and information that they couldn't possibly know and bizarre behavior.

i myself have had firsthand experience with something similar. this girl was in a bad accident and she was engaged to a guy she lived with. she woke up from her coma and didn't know who he was at all. she had zero attraction to this man. i didn't know her for very long but she was definitely leaving her options open. sad.

do you think that lack of oxygen caused brain damage and that could change a person? is there a paranormal or even spiritual aspect to this?

i never really hear about it happening without some kind of life ending situation where the person "dies".

There is very good data showing anoxic brain injuries infact can and do affect personalities, inhibitions, memories, and cognitive functions. So yes very plausible. The one fantasy trope associated with this is that people can develop new abilities like speak or read a language they never knew. Those stories although pervasive are not a thing. All claims to the contrary have either been hoaxed or family involvement.

Unfortunately that case the only evidence is anecdotally second hand observers years later. Stories told and checked into long after the facts. It evidence of an interesting story. The credulous nature of the observers puts doubt to the stories.

i can see it being dismissed, but ghandi himself forming a committee about it? that's pretty serious! she became a public figure! she only died in 1987.

There is definitely something that we cannot perceive with our senses. Every once in a while somebody gets a glimpse of it.
