What would make a woman an atheist?

I already know fewer women than men are atheists.

Among those few women, what makes them be atheists. What factors do you think plays a role in a woman gravitating towards thinking about scientific things and not believing in god?

Probably she felt peer pressure in college or saw the blocked path in academics... where most academic advancement is RESERVED for atheist And agnostic so... they lie about atheism for career. This problem was documented in studies in 2008 and 2009, same as NOW we see diversity hiring, same secretly in American colleges 36% of scientists were atheists in u. s. in 2008 study and got WORSE exclusion of christian in 2009 when 41% of scientists were atheists. In contrast to just 2% in general u. s. population! That year.

In general, the more civilised the society and the more educated the people the less prevalent religion becomes.

So basically the more you learn about the world the less likely you are to be religious. Same for women and men. As a bonus for women, the more equal you are the less religious too.

Just for the record. Einstein rejected God. Hawking did the same. Newton while certainly religious was seen as highly unorthodox for not believing in the trinity and so on. All of your examples are literally branded unbelievers of their time.

I am not sure which two highest IQ people you are referencing.

If you are referncing Younghoon Kim he is already proven a fraud and got his IQ score from, wait for it, his own organisation and has not provided any proof or other tests.

It is also very important to note that any IQ beyond 160 is essentially impossible for us to measure accurately due to how rare it is.

And lastly, while all of your claims make no sense and prove my statement more than refute it, so what if they were religious? It does not in any way change my statement. No one said highly intelligent people can not be religious. Simply that education and atheism go hand in hand. If you want to check that do some survey among professors. Some will believe, absolutely. But far less than in the general population.

My statement still stands. The moon is already visible as it's a natural celestial body. It has already been there longer before humans even existed. You can use a telescope to see its various valleys and craters on it.
No it's not the same as trying to get a radio to show you the moon. At least the moon is there for you to see with the right physical tool. Your fictitious character in the sky hasn't been proven by anything. The equivalent to believing in a god and using a bible as a reference would be telling you that Harry Potter and its creatures are real. After all both books would be fictional narratives.

Mostly the pain of seeing the hypocrisy of the religious institutions around them. Mega churches that won’t feed starving mothers or children, despite having more than enough money to do so, having hateful preachers speaking out against vulnerable communities like the LGBTQ+ or homeless or addicts or immigrants, that kind of thing.

See I'd say belief comes from fear. Statistically you see a move towards belief as people get older and face the prospect of death. I'd say atheism takes some courage as its saying that if your right when you die you face oblivion and if your wrong you face damnation

@Cal4576 I find that having faith take away my fear of death, of shame, of ugliness, of old age, of poverty, of loneliness, of pain, of violence. I had 100% self esteem when 3 liars slandered me to thousands of people and I did not have a single friend and hundreds of enemies because I believed in God.

That's my point. Many people turn to religion because if it offers a chance for something after death they don't have to fear it. Fear drives some people to find faith.

Most religions are full of holes and contradict themselves. There is a lot of hypocrisy in religion.
Religions tend to view women as lesser.

I think the biggest factor is family, the way you were raised stays somewhere inside you forever. Then other people in her life and things she's interested in. Basically I think its the same for a man or a woman
