For me as a Catholic, it's definitely mosques and Hindu temples. So many strict regulations, and they can become hostile if you do something wrong. If they're empty, I'm okay, but if they have people praying in them, I literally start to panic.
Sikh temples, a little bit, 'cuz someone always has to come to see what you're doing. Haven't been to many synogogues. And Buddhist temples are usually pretty chill. Even if you do something wrong, worst that'll happened is they'll scold and educate you, because they know you're not Buddhist. But others, they'll act like you killed their mother.
Churches are byfar the most chill though and most comfortable. It's pretty hard to be kicked out a church. Mosques and Gurdwaras someone always has to come monitor you, like they've never seen a White person in their place of worship.
I remember me and my dad stumbled upon a mosque in our area, we pulled in and got so many looks. My dad said, "Don't go in there, they'll us!"😂 I peeked in and there was a Muslim praying, so I didn't stick around. I've seen many YouTubers have problems at mosques and Hindu temples, even for wearing proper attire.
Churches are byfar the most chill and welcoming. I never have qualms about entering a church, but some others, I feel aprehensive.
No one will kick you out of a church just because their worship is about to start. Turkish mosques weren't bad, as the imams would invite me in themselves, but in other countries its different. But even in Turkey, we had to leave before prayers and one I got denied entry into.
So yeah. I don't know why other religions, besides Christianity and Buddhism are so strict. Also, I believe Mecca is the only holy city that bans other religions. And in Israel, I've seen footage of people getting chased out of Hasedic neighborhoods. Even in the US, Jews called the police on a YouTuber for just being in the vicinity of a synogogue. In Vatican, I saw Hindus and Muslims and no one harrassed them.
