Hi everyone, I asked this to have a rough
understanding. When I am outside, I usually
see boyfriends helping to carry things like
shopping bags or handbags, ordering and
paying for food. I don't see their girlfriends
reciprocating, why is this so? Are the guys
whipped and she wears the pants in the
relationship? Or the guy has control or
insecurity issues and wanted to demonstrate
how capable he is in terms of strength and
wealth. Personally if I am out on a first blind
date with a girl, I feel it's only fair for guys if
both split or go dutch as both of them don't
know each other.
Who should pay and carry shopping bags on
a first date? I believe there should be give and take in a relationship and there should be equal opportunities for both gender to be able to things the opposite gender do

Say there's a guy you really find really attractive. He is neutral to you at first, but you drop a lot of really strong hints for him to get to know you better and take you out on a date. The guy is open-minded and figures "sure, why not?" and agrees to go out on a date with you. However, the afternoon before the date, he texts you and tells you that he always goes Dutch, meaning he only ever pays for his meals and you'll only ever pay for yours. He will NOT be paying for anything on your date, now or ever.

DOES THIS CHANGE YOUR VIEW OF HIM; SPECIFICALLY IN A NEGATIVE WAY?

Keep in mind, this does not involve the "we'll each take turns paying" scenario, since in this case, you persuaded him to ask you out on a date, even if he is still technically The Asker. This also does not involve the "only if the man insists on paying" scenario. If you are fine with paying yourself and the man insists anyway, then you're still option B.

I'm talking about any woman who has the expectation that the man must pay for you on your date and if you're forced to spend your own money, then you will feel slighted or negative towards him, including refusing him sex down the line, or even ghosting him.

Father's often try to instill on their daughters negative trait of men to avoid and stare toward a guy that will treat them right in relationship. Father's will even go full on protection and intimidate a girl's boyfriend/husband to make sure he does not hurt her emotionally and physically.

Yet many mother don't seem to give their son the same advice to avoid being in relationship with manipulative women. Many mother still give their son blue pill advice like working hard and marrying a woman in her 30's. Many mother still try to teach their son to be chivalrous white knights who give girls gifts/presents without asking for anything in return. Many often try to shape their husband to be gentlemen who take girls out on dates (which he pays for).

Do you think mother's betray their sons when it comes to arming them against dating the opposite sex?
