Overly-analytical - too jaded to make initial connections?

People are often too emotional, too hot-headed, always acting out of impulse instead of calculations...

Calmness is often promoted, cold-headed in a hot situation. It's seen as a virtue...

However the problem with being analytical is; it is only good to a certain point, after you past the point of no return, you become jaded and cynical.

Then you try to break down everything; the motives, the methods, the end, the exchange...You think too much and stop feeling. Everytime things went as you predicted, it reinforces your mode of behavior...It rewards you and you seek that high again...that confirmation.

You forget the very reason why you analyze things in the first place; to make better decisions in life, to make connections with the right people and stay away from the wrong ones....And when that happens you lose your humanity; you become a robot and when you lose your humanity...what else is there?
