I've said this so many times, if you believe in equality then call yourself an EQUALIST, not a feminist. Feminism is a lie and a deception. Believe in equality, call yourself an equalist.

Please stop pretending like the movement that has treated men with such hate and cruelty can ever represent us. That is like a modern day Nazi trying to convince they care about the issues of Jewish people.
If you are a feminist, then you are part of the problem, and an enemy of equality. The more "moderate" feminists there are, the more it empowers the extremists that hurt us. This will remain true as long as feminists continue to lie and pretend to have anything to do with equality.

"There is always that idea in the back of men's minds that women should be at home with children - as shown by the fact that 84% of custody battles end in the woman being awarded custody" this is because the law persecutes and discriminates against men. In the eyes of the law women are regarded as large children. I believe in complete equality between the genders and races with no positive discrimination programmes, people should only advance through their own steam and merits.
Are you calling the cases where the law is biased against men "positive discrimination programmes"? Or are those two separate statements? Either way, I don't agree. In regards to favoring a particular group over another in an attempt to make up for previous discrimination, I would have to say that's entirely reasonable. It's like why firefighters don't hose down just any house, only those on fire. Because those are the ones that need it. For many groups, previous societal discrimination means that they are born into a harder life and a lower place in society than they otherwise would be, and programs like affirmative action or such like are an attempt to make the playing field even again, to not unfairly hinder people based on things they can't help.
I do not participate in debates about feminism and feminist. Why? Because it's an argument that neither side can actually win. And at the end of the day, will anything discussed in the debate actually solve or fix anything at all? Nope.
Not a damned thing. This is why i stay out of it. You want to argue a pointless debate, be my guest. I will be the first to find the door.

If you want a generation of lost, purposeless, submissive and emasculated men then fine, continue with your views.
You have a point about custody battles, but I still wish that I could downvote you. You are essentially arguing that society should ignore facts and biology.
Utter drivel, we are different genders so there are differences, from what i can gather you want women to become like men and men to become like women, so i think we can safely say your are a feminist.

Great Take, I support feminism too, for the similar reasons.
@ArtDent its ok she's a women. at this age I've come to the realization that expecting women to have the same grasp at anything as the average man is just unrealistic.

She used to be cute lol It's a shame really
If he is male, he won't be able to become female no matter what he does. Otherwise agreed conceptually.
HeForShe? Why not SheForHe?

Sounds like you have a lot more in common with MRA's then you do Feminists.
Maybe you should learn why so many people are against Feminism before you label your self as such.

I'm all for gender equality. The problem with many feminists is they are bitchy, obnoxious, have a rod up their ass, and just won't shut up lol.
You make no sense. Please don't make your son wear a pink dress.
stop reading at pay gap. there is no pay gap.
That's pretty much what she said in the take. Good job repeating what she already said.
@ClariceOwen23 again stopped reading at pay gap. there is no pay gap.
And that's exactly what she said in the take *facepalm*
@ClariceOwen23 i just read it again and i didn't see that anywhere.
The MyTake writer thinks there is a pay gap. ClariceOwen23 doesn't understand what was written.
"not just the pay-gap" means she thinks the pay gap exists and that it's not the only issue.
@ArtDent its ok she's a women. at this age I've come to the realization that expecting women to have the same grasp at anything as the average man is just unrealistic.
Yesssssssssssss! Yes you've just got it all so right :D. Super intelligent myTake, well done!!!
sorry hun different views not on everything but some things so I can't agree
plus your still figuring yourself out
good for you. I'm glad you have shared and embarrassed your beliefs. As long as you are equal to both parties I'm all for it.
The feminism you represent (and I agree with) is long gone now, replaced by a movement of extremists.
Until feminism fixes itself, I'm not game.
seeing as the whole concept is warped, it is unlikeley to fix itself.
