Body shaming, whatever your reason and motivation, is wrong. The only one who should be critiquing your body is your Doctor in my opinion. When someone passes their negative opinions on your body to you 9 out of 10 times it has to do with their insecurities and their views of how things should be... it has nothing to you so don't take offense. The problem is normally their view of themselves, not you.
Not everyone is into the same stuff and that's okay, so don't date them no need to try to make them feel bad for it. I agree.
I've never understood fitness shaming. Some people take their health and wellness seriously. Some people like to be fit and work hard at attaining certain goals.
I'm a plus sized woman, but I get it. I get it because I've taken time to understand it. It's not that hard. You just have to read articles and talk with people and understand that they have a passion for what they do. I don't understand why people put other's down when it's hurting no one.
Surprise, surprise, but health nuts actually really enjoy running, weight lifting, and eating healthy. It's hard to be good at something you hate. The lessons of consistency, effort, exceeding expectations, setbacks, failures, patience, dedication, and pain are important. I like guys who are reasonably fit and healthy but not buff. When people talk about being ripped, it generally means having a certain level of muscle to look strong, and having an exceptionally low body fat percentage, in the 10-12% range or less. If you are the type of person who actually enjoys being disciplined and enjoys a sense of structure, then you may well enjoy the process of getting ripped. People want to get a six-pack for different reasons - for better health, boosting confidence, aesthetics, because it is challenging and so on. But thinking you are better then lanky nerdy guys is not good.
People just like to make others feel bad. I won't be looking like Brock Lesnar until I get heavier weights because the "heaviest" weights I have are 10 pounds which aren't even heavy because they feel like 1 ounce now. Thankfully I've never gotten any kind of "fitness shaming" but I have gotten compliments for my toned forearms and well built hands from using my hand grippers though.
Here's the thing, you can be proud of what you look like without being a dick to other people. And without being cocky and looking down on someone else. I'm damn proud of my body. But I'm not the type of person to put someone else down. Joking or not. But you yourself said that you aren't apologetic so I'm probably wasting my time here.
I think this is the difference between real confidence and arrogance. Just being happy with who you are without having to rank yourself in comparison to other people.
Well, the title is obvious. I don't care about anyone's reasons for working out, if they get fit, it means they've worked for it and that deserves recognition. Ignorant people, of course, look for every conceivable way to justify (albeit, there is no reason to) why they are lazy.
The funniest part in this is when we start talking about "fat" people, before one can even blink, there will be comments of shallowness and inconsiderateness fired.
This whole topic is ridiculous, hypocrites on both fronts and the cherry on top of the cake being: the people who 've achieved most need do nothing to get recognition.
TL;DR Keep on doing your job, haters. Your job is to hate, it seems that's the only thing you can do... well.
Preach! Shaming others for fitness is silly. Shaming others for being healthy and working hard to have an attractive body? Please... Words can't describe how ridiculous does who shame fitness are. To be honest, I don't think I can be attracted to someone who isn't muscular and is lazy. Not once and not twice did I mention a muscular is sexy. Bring on the muscles 😍
Cheaaa, I don't know why it's still not reversed, I'll admit sometimes people don't need to be pegged with a baseball to keep going to the gym but it certainly helps with a swift kick in the nuts and a dose of reality. Lol kyla blocked me, dammit. Whatevs enjoy those brownies that stomach certainly doesn't need it but your psychology studies say otherwise to make up for wondering what's wrong with yourself. *skadoosh*
People make assumptions that any built guy at the gym is a "bro" and he's wasting his energy on nonsense.
But it's because we see the vision of something beautiful. It's because the not being able to do something fascinates us. If renovation of a car can have purpose imagine how it could feel to shape a living thing on daily basis. It's like planting a garden.
Really thanks for writing this man My heart goes out to you
im not much of a huge guy but even i like going to the gym its awsome
i mean there are so many bemifits minus muscular gains, i mean i feel clamer, can think a heck ton more clearley, my body responds quicker and better due to the neuro muscular system being more optimised.
I started going to the gym coz I'm turning into a bitch and my back feels better although it's still fucked up, I've started with supersets to try and burn some fat... I vomited on my first session, a few dudes lauded the puke and I liked that. I'll keep going until I get another fucking injury. Like with any pursuit you'll meet a mixture of people, some real dickheads and some properly cool dudes, shame the dickheads by all means I say, but big up the genuine and the dedicated.
Fitness shaming is just plain stupid. So what? Now we are going to shame people for exercising? Smh -_- How stupid is that? Shaming people for taking care of their bodies? Are you serious...
If you have muscle, if your skinny or if your fat anyway people will still bashing you for whatever reasons. So just keep doing what you like. I notice this the fat shamming, the skinny bashing and the fitness shamming etc... It's just ridiculous.
Skinny men want to look big while overweight or obese men want to look small. Girls say they dont like men looking small but as a person whose most of adult life passed being overweight and obese, I want to look small if being at the bmi of 22 is looking small. I regret people who tell me I lost too much weight and should gain some of it. Fuck it. Fuck them. I wanna look slim even if most of girls dont like slim men. F
@Vivaldi people said that cause they're not use to see you like that. they still think of you like the fat guys so that's weird for them. Anyways just do what you like more, if you prefere yourself to be skinny then be skinny.
The way I approach fitness is how I approach life, I'm gonna make it my b---- like everything else in my life. What's the point of going after something half ass? Thank you for post
You know what it is I bet? Some individuals arnt willing to put in the hard work. They want simple gratification and quick results. That's why you see all these guys throwing out these "30 days and look like Arnold" gain 30 pounds of muscle in a month.. Couldn't even get that in fat let alone lean muscle
why are you showing pics of your meal prep as if it isn't easy. I literally do this everyday and it takes no effort. by the way, why are you posting pics of guys on drugs. When you're on insane amount of drugs, you dont even need to diet well, or train hard. It just makes fitness more of a joke. You look fit, but you're lazy and have mad health problems
Aren't you that depressed missed lol. I said I was talking about nobillshit real bodybuilding. Steroids are a part of the sport. Steroids aren't magic beans either. All it does is raise the ceiling of your potential. Still have to train your off. Most people on steroids train harder than Natties that I know. I trained natty for four years.. Force feeding your self massive amounts of calories is not easy at all.
Nigga my friend went from dyel to mike o hearn status in 7 months of gear you have no idea what you're talking about. If i did the amount of gear he did id be at SERGE NUBRET level in a few months (but i have an amazing natty base so idk) it really is magic dude
and force feeding yourself calories is pretty easy lol. I also find it fucking ridiculous how most guys on gear dont even look as good as me but i always hear that they work harder lool
It's a part of bodybuilding lol there is absolutely no way around it if you want to compete and get your procard. You can't just blindly say people that choose to go the professional route are all stupid. Steroids are not magic.
Well this take o very very organised thanks for sharing it
It's really stupid to shame people for that like being healthy is bad , being fat is bad , being a slut is bad , being a prude is bad , people will ALWAYS talk so we better ignore them

@Octavius exactly my point.

I don't see Anything wrong with guys posting body pics. They worked hard for dem muscles not to keep them hidden under a shirt.

I prefer NPP over decca by the way. Be sure to keep test higher and caber on hand. Don't overload with the AI. You need estro to grow
