Problems with the Misandrists in the Feminism Movement and Misogynists in the MRA Movement

There is a massive issue that has taken shape in the Feminist Movement and to a lesser extent the MRA Movement. These movements are often seen as hating the other sex when the majority of their members do not actually do so. This is because those majorities are failing in suppressing their radical groups. How is an uninformed layperson supposed to know Feminists are not actually man hating or that MRA's do not actually hate women if the other members of those groups do not denounce radicals?

If you are part of a group and someone is fundamentally misrepresenting the group you have a responsibility to renounce that person and reassert your group's intended goals. When someone says I'm a feminist and then says something misandrist letting it stand means allowing that person's message to represent you.

If you want to keep radicals from destroying the reputation of a group you are in then you must denounce the radicals with measured and polite explanations of why they are misrepresenting the group. A couple radicals with only a couple half-hearted "no that's not what we are about" statements to opposing them will do severe damage to your group's reputation.

They can't do any damage and may inadvertently help you defeat them if instead it's a couple radicals and 5-6 well-written denouncements with explanations about the true nature of your group and 50 other people agreeing with those denouncements. If you don't want feminism and Men's right advocacy to be seen as hateful to men and women respectively, you need to start denouncing people who hurt your group through misrepresentation.
