Anyone who drinks alcohol is a foolish person. A fool is someone who makes unwise decisions. Compromising your menal faculties by consuming intoxicants is not only unwise but also incredibly harmful.

Drinking not only harms yourself but it also harms others. It is responsible for and also increases road traffic accidents, violent crime, domestic abuse and many other ills in society. It is a plague on mankind. And turns decent people into degenerates. And as such it should be illegal. Not only is it important for governments to ban this poison but also for individuals to actively stop participating in the down fall of society.

Anyone who is aware of this and still decides to drink clearly puts their own selfish desires above the well being of society.

When it comes to consuming alcoholic beverages, the negatives far exceed any positives. Too bad most people suffer from cognitive dissonance and drink anyway.

I think that we should decide on either one of those options:
1. We want to protect people from things that harm them, so we ban EVERYTHING that is harmful to them: alcohol, drugs, cigarettes etc.
2. We are giving people freedom - we teach them about the consequences of that stuff, but we aren't banning ANYTHING from that list.

Making something illegal doesn’t stop the behaviour. It only drives the problem underground, thus making it harder for people to get help when they need it.
