I fear for my country. A country that was based on declarations of freedoms and laws to protect those freedoms is now in danger of becoming another fascist state under the "I never lose" orange shitstain that was the previous, (nearly pukes), president.

He has continued to appeal to the lowest common man and woman with rhetoric that is nothing short of the same diatribe that allowed Hitler to gain prominence in Germany.

Should the Republican party, as it stands right now with ultra-right-wing candidates and lawmakers already in office, gain a majority in either the House or Senate, they could possibly declare the 2020 election fraud, as the orange shitstain is constantly spewing, and create a constitutional calamity.

In my opinion, it is imperative that we, as a nation, refute this movement by calling it what it is, as treasonous as the South was when they declared succession from the Union. We know how that turned out.

I'm a libertarian right individual. Trump wasn't who I wanted to win in the primaries, I was more of a Paul or Cruz (mainly because he wanted to abolish the IRS) person.

There were things that Trump did that I liked like lowering the unemployment rate down to 3.5 percent, the economy was booming in general just before covid hit, he forced the price of insulin down to reasonable levels, forced hospitals to post the price of their operations online to encourage competition and to show an itemized list on the bill to fight against overcharging and most of all he was against the covid laws.

I didn't like the tomahawk missiles, the raid that has killed an American citizen, the extremely risky move he pulled with Iran but I heard from the people there that they were happy with how it turned out, he banned bump stocks and said a lot of dumb things like that burning the flag should be illegal and that video games cause violence.

Despite all that, I thought he was a far better president than any of the previous ones in the 21st century and I think most criticisms of him were based on what was assumed about him not what he actually did or said.

I think what is really going on with this country existed long before Trump, if anything I think his election was a sign that people are noticing that the culture isn't heading in the direction they wanted. What else could those in favor of the new culture do but call whoever defies them someone that they know no one can deny is a bad person?
